Seriously??? I can't even tell wtf she was trying to say. It's absolutely unintelligible gibberish. The awkwardness I felt watching this youtube clip rivals the way I felt watching the infamous Miss South Carolina "speech" I can understand freezing up on camera but this is just ridiculous, especially for a spot on a major event like the Grammy's on a CBS, a major network.    | ||

This is called Wernickes aphasia and is an indication that there is a serious problem with a certain area of her brain (The Wernickes area). She could have had a serious problem, it might be a stroke, seizure, tumour etc. | ||

The reason she can't speak the correct words (notice that she doesn't studder or seems confused while she talks with a controlled tone and motion) is because she has problems with the medial temporal lobe. Damage in this area of the brain destroys local language regions and also cuts off most of the occipital, temporal, and parietal regions from the core language region. In the highly unlikely situation that receptive aphasia chose that moment to manifest itself then yes I would agree with you, however I dont believe that is the case, and if it is a preexisting condition then why would she run the risk of being a reporter on a LIVE show? You def have a good 'theory' but dont put it off as this is the absolute truth of the matter. | ||

You can see how afraid she looks about halfway through the video. It definitely wasn't some sort of nervousness or a joke. | ||
