Ulysses or Infinite Jest if you're looking for something challenging dostoyevsky, particularly Crime and Punishment. It's a great psychological thriller, basically invented the genre. fuck tolstoy (jk i luv u bro) umm....google a top ten or 100 list of authors, a serious one meaning no jk rowling or terry pratchett or anything. the more alcoholics and suicides in it the better. You seem like you'd like short stories, so anything by Hemingway or Fitzgerald or Faulkner.

Also ^^ Crime and Punishment is great too but a little denser than what you've been reading.

Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku is pretty fun and easy to read, but very informative about high-tech advanced science.

im a student of english so i enjoy most of them a lot, just finished selected tales by edgar allen poe and the last of the mohicans by james fenimore cooper. the selected tales by poe were quite refreshing in the sense that you get a great selection of rather haunting short stories. also just finished reading the road by cormac mccarthy, very recommendable if somewhat different style of writing.

Both amazing bohemian romps, bordering on the epic. Right now I'm reading Oracle Night by Paul Auster, which is really enjoyable. His New York Trilogy was awesome as well.

Ender's Game is also pretty good. The rest of the Ender novels are also decent.
