But then there are like the five minute long pauses where they just pause, say "brb" and then go off and do something. Fuck, if you have to leave the computer for it, leave the game. When I'm laddering and I get a phone call that can't wait, I just leave the game. If I have to go to the bathroom, I just leave the game. I think I've called for a pause once, and it was because I had to minimize the window, and it lasted less than 10 seconds. If you're going to play Starcraft, play Starcraft. If you have other stuff to do, leave the game. IMO it's common courtesy. I've played 2v2 and 3v3 games where less than a minute into the game, someone pauses and says "brb bathroom." Seriously. Go use the bathroom before the game? It's not that difficult to do... | ||

I'm not wasting my time because you need to answer the door or the phone or what have you, if you're not dedicated to the game at hand then you deserve to lose. If I do however have some time on my hands and the person asks politely to pause for a second I don't mind... but if it lasts over a minute I unpause. Just too impatient. | ||

I hate it when the game starts and the guy's pausing already, and especially the people who don't give time frames for when they're gonna be back. I too have limited time to play. | ||
