Need to grow confidence and approach those girls bro. And WORK OUT! It totally helps. For one, it boosts your confidence and it makes you grow a body that women will get turned on by. Good luck and don't ever be shy and never apologize to other people for what you want.

I dated some girl in 7th grade, that shit was a joke. Honestly most girls r gonna be dating the douche bags until the last year or so of college, so you've got till then to have fun, and get really fucking good at SC2, cause honestly theres no point until then anyway, you're not gonna marry your 7th grade gf. middle/high school relationships are a hobby, like Starcraft, not love. hahaha

It's a good start to being learning things and picking up confidence, but truthfully, the relationships won't end up lasting or going anywhere special at that age. I hate to break it to you, but that's the truth. It's not completely useless though because of the experience you gain and the things you learn.

I completely disregarded that until gr.12 or so when I began "open" to dating, mostly because I felt I was too busy with other things to find time to do it. I feel I've learned from relationships of my close friends though, so personally I didn't really feel behind in the learning process.

edit: ignore the whole asian thing. that should have no effect on your decisions.

Any asians I've known who have dated outside their race have been with semi unattractive short blonde girls. They try with all kinds of girls but usually just end up having a lot of girl friends who friend zoned them for life.

it won't be "dating" in the adult sense until you're, well, an adult. but Maybe suggest doing homework together after school at her place, grabbing pizza for lunch, play some chess with her etc. At your age it doesn't really have to be something huge, but I'd suggest you get some practice getting used to being in a relationship with a girl. It won't be a huge deal when you look back at it, so just relax and have fun, and don't worry if everyone else is doing it and you aren't. Most of the people that dated in grade 7/8 were very socially pressured and had no idea what they were doing, and also had no idea who they were.

I wouldn't worry about dating during middle school, it really isn't worth the trouble that it seems. Those relationships are mostly "trends" that popular kids do to make themselves seem cool and whatnot.
High school is where majority of kids start dating. I would probly suggest waiting until then.

edit: well if you're more worried about academics over dating, wait until college, imo.

Girls at that age are usually a little unstable and unsure of themselves. Hell even guys are like that. Up until the last year of high school, people have too much juices flowing so it's best to stay put. Hell I'm in a female infested program in university and im still single, and I like it that way

7th grade? Asian crew not dating? It's the parents.

I got a confession in the 6th grade and "went out" with her. In other words we said we liked each other and talked on MSN a crap-ton; the regular elementary stuff. It really isn't a relationship.

Don't worry, your time will come, why rush a great thing that you will enjoy (and hate- see: many girl blogs on TL) for the rest of your life. Plus enjoy what you got right now- cause you will never go back to your carefree days. Oh how I miss those... but I digress.
