I am looking for either possible websites dedicated to English subbed Japanese music PVs (do PV fansub groups exist?), or learn a way to sub them myself.
I am not sure where this should go, so I am throwing it here.
Here's what I am interested: Japanese music videos, or often called "PVs", or Promotional Videos. Since I got my iPod I like to watch these while I am in the subway.
Since this media is both visual and audio, I prefer having some English translations embedded to the video so I can understand the lyrics (I find it really hard to understand the lyrics just by listening to the song as a non-native Japanese speaker).
Here's the problem. While Youtube is a very good source for PVs, for some stupid reason it is illegal to sub them so subbed PVs get removed periodically. Other than Youtube, however, I have not discovered any good sources for finding these coveted PVs with subtitles. If you know any, please share!
If that fails, I am thinking the possibility of subbing them myself.

I honestly don't care much about the copyright issue. As far as I understand, a PV is a commercial for (musical) artistic work. To translate it into English is to promote the artist's work, not violating it.
The problem is that I have *zero* idea as to how to do it. Obviously, it would be nice to be able to get romanji + kanji karaoke and English translation, for example:
But I imagine this might be too much work (but exactly how much work is it???). So something very simple like this:
seems good for me too (although I would probably also add the original Japanese lyrics by looking it up on Google).
So, can anyone shred some light as to what kind of software I should use and what are the things I should pay attention to?
