I uploaded the replay cuz it was that epic

was a 56 minute long game, vs a really annoying playstyle on metalopolis

did not think i'd pull out the win on this one. i don't think i would have won if he had done drops but luckily he didn't harrass much. guess it's probably hard if ur playing that playstyle

You need to switch your army composition after you get your 3rd.

Add 4 robos, pump immortals and get storm.

Immortal Storm > Any terran amy, particularly the one he had. Woulda ended the game a lot sooner.

really? after ur 3rd seems pretty early. that does sound like a mighty fine composition but it sounds like a risky transition, maybe i could transition to it a little slower than that

nah it's really not that quick at all. Some Tosses will even turtle off 2 base to get storm after their robo, which is actually kinda risky imo. Your FE is fine, and you took your third at a nice time. What I usually do is get Collosus to cover until i get my 3rd and before a T will get a shitload of vikings. Once you get pylon spread on the map and 3-5 robos pumping immortals with templar, its pretty much GG, nothing terran can do can stop it if you control templars right.

I think you were on 1 robo the whole game if I saw it right. Carriers are nice too, but as you see they can get wrecked if he gets 10+ vikings and can kite. Epic game though, GG.

You produce out of 4 or 5 robos with HTs off 3 base? That is a lot of gas.

Its surprisingly not at all, try it and you will see what I mean. Your composition will be mostly immortals/zealots which cost very little gas, and most of it will go into templars. From my experience, this is THE endgame PvT composition, and is very doable on 3 base. Terrans complain about endgame for a reason, and this is pretty much unstoppable from my experience.

Only thing is that you need to have templars decently spread for your FIRST engagement where he'll be ready to blanket emp your whole army. That, or save 4-5 gateway cooldowns ready to warp in more stormers. Once you just survive that first engagement, the rest of the fight is an uphill battle for the T, you don't need any gimicky voidrays, carriers, motherships, dts or any of that.

trump needed more ghosts this game that's for sure. if he emped temps and didn't lose 20 vikings to storms he would have won I think.
