I haven't played/watched any SC2 since the start of GSL season 2. Can some people tell me what I missed? Whats the balance like now? Whose doing well in tournaments? Any good Day9 Dailys that I missed, that was a learning experience. Any new tricks I should know about? And anything else you can think of.
Thanks a lot guys.

I've no comments on balance or exceptional Dailies. Some recent trends: seeing a bit more Phoenix play after the 10 second build time buff, but not a drastic amount. We may see a surge of mech TvP after it was recently revived in GSL.
GOM plans to replace Blizzard maps. B.net 2 now has a basic implementation of chat channels, but the custom map system is still wonky as all hell. The foreign scene is seeing a few more team league format events, as well as a few more teams and player signings. Incontrol has not yet made his big announcement.
In terms of who's big... there are far too many events for me to make a judgment on that holistically... look at the results yourself if you wish.

Liquid Jinro made it to the final 4 of GSL 3 and won MLG Dallas. Hes playing great and is in the final 8 of the current GSL.
Boxer faced Nada in a pretty epic series in the ro8 of GSL 2.Nestea (zergbong) defeated Marineking (Foxer) to win GSL 2.
July made it into GSL 3 and made a deep run to ro16 where OGSMC defeated him. Nestea got cheesed out in the ro8 by Rain and oGsMc defated Rain in the finals to win GSL 3.
MVP the extra broodwar pro is looking great in GSL 4. GSL got divided into code S and code A I really dont know how to explain it.
Dont really follow the dailies so thats all I got

Dailies have gone to shit since the "funday monday" and "newbie tuesday" shit....but yeah I'd recommend every Foxer / Nestea game in S2. Not really any game I'd recommend in S3 except Clide/Leenock ro64.
