Seoul Tower is located on Namsan mountain in Seoul and is close to a shopping district called Myung-dong. It's a popular attraction that is easily accessible through a walking path or through cable cars that operate from the base of the mountain to close to the top. The area is not only popular for tourists but also for couples in Korea who go to the tower to sign and write messages on locks which they attach to the metal fences surrounding the tower. The tower has an observation deck that provides an amazing view of the city and even has labels on the full-length windows that point out various locations in Seoul to the viewer.
I went to Korea in 2008 and took tons of photos during my stay. If there's interest in this kind of blog, then I would love to share more photos with the TL community. I think that Korea is a really beautiful and interesting country, so I hope to share the photos that might have an interest in going there one day
