I am writing this at the very edge of the end of winter vacation, less than seven hours before the first school bell of 2011 rings. For high school seniors, the post-winter break period often marks the beginning of senioritis and the beginning of (or at least a glimpse) of freedom. Yet in my school district, there are roughly 3-4 weeks left to the first semester, and I've been assigned quite a bit of winter break homework. While I've been slowly feeling it for the last few days, I'm dealing with severe vacation withdrawal.

How do you guys stay sane when a break of vacation ends?!!!?!?!

Edit: Yeah I'm going through withdrawal too.
Do an arranged marriage if she's not completely minging, and don't worry about dancing, get a go-kart, cheers.

Reading this makes me wonder, would I have withdrawal? My vacation will end end of next month..

This break was definitely a weird one to say the least. I got apps out of the way around the 20th, expecting a long period of relaxation. I didn't know that despite taking fewer academic classes this year, I would get more winter-break homework than my last three years combined -.-;. Expecting to have a relaxing break and a mountain of homework mix is like drugs and alcohol.
