From the TSL 2 nongmin participation announcement thread: One of the TSL's major goals has been to promote and enhance the non-professional or "foreigner" scene. Times have changed drastically but I think the same applies today. Would the scene benefit more if there was no Koreans participating in TSL3? I'm sure the answer is no. | ||

its pretty ignorant to say "well i guess we might as well give it to the koreans" because the skill cap for the best players on NA and EU is close to korea as well, with maybe a few exceptions such as MC and MVP | ||

TSL was always defined as being an event for foreigners, especially considering most foreigners don't have access to playing in the GSL. GSL doesn't just invite foreigners who cant logistically play in their qualifiers, why should we invite koreans to play in our tournament? | ||
