I am not the best Starcraft player ever, and I recognize that. I also recognize it might be impossible to ever even be considered "good". I never played BW, and I only got this game in September. No surprise that I would be placed in Bronze. I've been stuck near the top of my ladder for a while now (as of 12/28/10) and hopefully I get promoted soon! My knowledge of the game is very limited but I am already in love with it. I watch GSL and many day[9] dailies.

I recently discovered the great website that is SC2Replayed (if it's not, someone please tell me because I'm easily influenced
) and decided to upload all of the replays of myself that I have there! I've tried to be as descriptive as possible with these replays.These replays will help chronicle my journey from a point in which I am in bronze, to hopefully wherever I end up when I decide to update this blog. Some of these will be wins, some of these will be losses. I am trying to upload every replay of me I can. Just because I can.
So here we go!
THE REPLAYS!
- 1.) (T) Psyballa vs (P) Venom - Blistering Sands

Venom opens with an attempted proxy pylon in my main which is spotted and destroyed by SCV's. I decide to rush 3 rax M&M while he tries to tech up to DT's. At the end he gets two DT's out but I quickly scan and destroy them. I liked my pylong sniping.
2.) (Z) Psyballa vs (Z) tbear - Lost Temple

I believe he sets up some early ling pressure and goes one gas. My early ling harass fails because I can't micro and macro at the same time. I tech up to mutas asap and muta harass him until he types out. Again, pressure is a constant theme here. I think my earlier expansion won me this game.
3.) (P) Psyballa vs (T) DaAsian

DaAsian, the Terran, gets out very early Banshees. I failed to keep constant scouting because I was not aware of this. I made Photon Cannons because I knew some kind of air harass would come, just to be safe. It ends up not working as DaAsian ends up being able to macro up and simply outmass me. I foolishly make a Colossi and fail to bring it to the fight, which loses me the game and causes me to quit.
4.) (T) Psyballa vs (T) Sithy - Xel'Naga Caverns

Pretty straightforward. In that he rushes cattlebruisers and I defend with marines and vikings because SIEGE TANKS DON'T DO SHIT AGAINST BATTLECRUISERS.
5.) (T) Psyballa vs (Z) JAEGDSCHLOSS

I try a DestinyCloudFist build with an extra rax to, at first, take his army headon. After an initial rush fails, I macro up another army of Marines, Helions, and Medivacs and drop on his unit producing structures. Thankfully my army holds out against his and wins me the match.
6.) (P) iffsplay, (T) Apollo vs (P) Manti (T) Psyballa - Scorched Haven

My first 2v2 with a Diamond ranked friend. I try to tech up to Mutas asap but I am overrun before. Manti is subsequently overrun and we leave fairly quickly.
7.) (P) Psyballa, (P) Manti vs (P) Beast, (P) LostArtz

Very fun. I randomed Protoss so it ends up being 4 Protoss on the same map. Our strat is to get out a lot of units asap. Thankfully one of them goes for Colossi and lets us overrun them. I feel disappointed with my lack of complete unit control as you can see I have unused sentries and zealots even as my zealots in the battle are dying to colossi.
