Even some 2500+ diamonds can't macro well. Replays plz so I can see. I'm pretty sure people would help / give advice to you to get to diamond within 23 days. But if you're losing to silver/gold now then it's going to take more than 23 days to reach Diamond. | ||

I'll post some replays of me playing yesterday. When I say macro well I mean I think I macro better than most bronze, silver, gold players, but who knows? I messed up on yesterdays record, it is now fixed. | ||

If you're lucky your opponent won't know what to do (stalker and zealot) at which point you can overwhelm them. * Muta harass is a great option and surviving mutas are a great addition to your army. * UPGRADES! Protoss can chronoboost a quick 3-0 which will usually dominate a 0-0 army. * Corruptors rape colossus * There really isn't a "right" time to attack. Play around with it. Build units before, during, and after the attack. Go out of your way to keep up with larva injects. You probably won't be able to destroy the protoss army but you can replace yours MUCH faster (especially if they go for a counterattack far away from reinforcing pylons). | ||

I also recently decided to focus and try really hard to get into diamond over this winter break. Although I fear I will be stuck at 2k platinum for a while, (coming from 1k platinum from a few days ago) I've been approaching it the same way. This is a great attitude to have and I will definitely be following this blog. There are so many who 7rr, 4gate, and 2rax every game but it does not benefit in the long run. You've got the right idea! See you on the ladder. | ||

Er, i mean Yeah, good luck to you - just stick with the macro - the tough part is always learning the timings when you are vulnerable, and finding ways to scout. As diamond, i still struggle with these cheese/allin/timing pushes. ://// | ||
