The fact that they live for thousands of years is enough of an explanation on its own. Longer lived species have slower population growth rates. | ||

They're probably not mamals, certainly don't have mouths, and we haven't a clue how they give birth... so who knows if they'd have any "feminine" human characteristics? Always struck me as silly when female aliens are depicted with human female traits. A creature with no mouth certainly doesn't need breasts... or like in ME, an alien that reproduces via eggs has no need for wide hips... etc etc... lol But anyway, awesome picture! | ||
