The mid/late nineties were absouletly horrible and nothing but nostalgia (and the best video games ever) makes you like them. For what reason? Worst mainstream music EVER. We went from Techno and Europop straight into Gagnster Rap...
But the comics were way better than nowadays... Batman back then was awesome. TMHT, Spider Man, X-Men, Gargoyles...
I was ill last week, i know what nowadays is fed to childs... And alone the new Batman series is just an insult to everyone that ever saw the "old/90ies" Batman...
if your gonna insult macarena then dont ..
you aint a 90s kid if you dont like macarena ..
to OP: i dont know what your point was but then i realized what it was and no .. its not .. your just being delusional .. and fuck beiber .. if i get to choose him or carter .. + Show Spoiler +

sorry man, you were like 15 by the time space jam rolled around, like 12 whenever powerrangers was the shit, youd be a creepy ass kid to be that old and still into that stuff. You ain't a 90's kids.
I was born 1990, I got the best cartoons, I got pokemon, I got snes and n64, I watched barney, power rangers.
I really feel bad for the kids nowadays, have you seen their cartoons? no dexters lab, ed edd eddy, doug, rugrats....sigh.
so it kinda confuses me when '91-92s go nostalgic over stuff that happened in 90s. You were like 1 when Terminator 2 came out. 2-3 when Pulp Fiction came out. You were 3-5 when stuff like Duke Nukem, Red Alert and SC came out. No way in hell could you appreciate all the inside jokes and etc in those games and movies. And so on.
You're 00s kids. Late 90s at most.
yeah why would I ever go nostalgic over barney, power rangers, pokemon, rugrats, scooters, all that, space jam, doom, diablo, they all happened in the 2000's!
Pretty sure you are retarded.
Barney Production company(s) The Lyons Group (1992–2001)
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, debuted on August 28, 1993, and helped launch the Fox Kids programming block of the 1990s, during which it catapulted into popular culture along with a line of action figures and other toys by Bandai.
Rugrats The series premiered on August 11, 1991 and aired its last episode on June 8, 2004. (And the ones in the late 90's early 2000's were the shitty grown up ones)
Space Jam (1996)
All That first aired on April 16, 1994, as a "sneak peek" and debuted as a regular series on December 24, 1994.[1] It was successfully broadcast internationally, in countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Pokémon created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996.
Q: When did the razor scooter come out? A: The Razor Scooter took 5 years to design by J.D. Corporation, and was released in the mid-1990s. I don't have an exact date.
Doom, 2000's? Are you fucking joking? 93.
Diablo was late 90s, released by Blizzard Entertainment on January 2, 1997
Also....
Waddddup. Space jam was my shit, MJ is a god among men. And add in the looney toons, you can't go wrong seriously.
Honestly I'm pretty happy to grow up in the 90's. Had a fairly active childhood yet, introduced to technology a bit later. Our next few generations are just tecnho whores, I mean I love it but with 3d video games and all that craziness coming up parents are gonna struggle to get their kids out of the house .
Our television shows, nickelodeon tween shows included fucking kicked ass man. And come see me on a razor scooter i used to be nasty haha.
My roomate brought home his n64 and we got baked out and had a mario kart war. Quite entertaining.
Meh, I was never into Space Jam. I mean, I saw it and probably thought it was good, but that's it. Now with all this talk about video games is what brings the nostalgia to me. There were so many good games back them, some of which I still play every once in a while, like: The Incredible Machine 2, One Must Fall 2097, Master of Magic, just to name a few. I wish I still remembered the names of all the games from back then. I still have memories of a lot of games I don't even remember the names of. Man, PC games were so good back then.
Maybe I have a better memory than most people, but from about 95 and on I really started remembering the 90s in detail, but like I said, I still remember things like Hocus Pocus. The poor people born in the 80s feel threatened by someone taking their decade away or something. No one can say what people can or can't remember, so stop trying; just share the memories.
The two songs are not the same. They're not even much alike. Justin Bieber didn't fucking copy Space Jam. I made this thread because it hit me that they have a similar beat at the beginning. Why else would I connect the two songs and put effort into making an OP? I don't go around trying to find songs that sound like the Space Jam theme all day. It's just something to make you laugh and feel nostalgic, don't get your panties all bunched up about it.
1981. And I definitely don't consider myself a 90's "kid". All the stuff you guys are mentioning (Pokemon, Power Rangers), I remember watching because my brother, who was born in 1990, watched it. I was a "kid" in the 80's, I watched Punky Brewster and Thunder Cats when they originally aired.
I guess it all comes down to what your definition of a kid actually is... I mean, SC came out when I was 17...

Note that the american comics and all this aired much later Europe which is a pretty big timeframe when it comes to treads like this.
I have Space jam in VHS that was so good as a kid. But there were things that sucked in the 90s the radio back then was as bad as it is today now we just remember the best stuff..... im 20 but i remember a lot from the 90s also where i grew up there were a lot of old and 90s cartoons.
Nostalgia makes something mediocre something good.
I was born in 84 but I'm a 90s kid. My early years were graced with things such as He-man, thundercats, transformers, carebears, and the atari. From there I moved into what would become the staple of my youth with NES, Sega, N64, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, X-men, Spiderman, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyals, etc. There are literally too many good 5-13 year old shows that were aired during my time. The music of the 90s was also the most diverse main stream music I believe we have ever had as well but perhaps I'm just eclectic.
This thread makes me want to throw on some JOCK JAMS

welcome to the big show let me hear ya say WAY-OH! (Way-oh!)
I like this thread. I was born in 87 so I was 6-7 when power rangers came out and like 7-8 when All That came out which were like my two favorite non-cartoon shows as a kid.
Just to add a little more nostalgia to this thread. Anyone remember these equally awesome shows?
The cartoons I got to watch as a kid are in my opinion some of the best. Not only did we get to see some of the older good ones but we also had things like X-men, Justice League, Superman, Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and of course Pokemon/Digimon.
Does anyone else remember the Power Rangers Movie? I remember watching that movie and absolutely falling in love with it. I was a die hard power ranger fan (red ranger) and was so amped when they came out with an actual movie for my favorite show as a kid.
edit: I can think of so many more shows now... oh the nostalgia. I almost want to create a new thread lol
