played x-men .. I played CC when i was 8 on a PS, dark reign at 9, dead lock 2, shat myself because of the Butcher in D1 in PS .. i got to play dune, doom, doom 2, METAL SLUG, SAMURAI SHOWDOWN, pissed off Commandos, played power ranger saw the movie power ranger i remembered in 5th grade we talked about kenan and kel, all that, off beats, johnny quest, pokemons (the original 151), got the chance to play Magic:The Gathering + Show Spoiler + typing these was really nostalgic i think the reason why 90s were great because the 80s kids who were 6-10 years older than us also liked what the 90s had to offer .. yuyu hakusho .. especially that one with regards to music .. never really into the international artist .. all around me were people either playing old rock like ACDC or into madonna or Bee Gees or Local Artists so .. idk

fucking Space Jam I remember watching it like 20 times when I was a kid ('90lol, wtf is up with all the hate if you were a kid during the '90s then you're a '90s kid gtfo trolls) still can't believe I learned my alphabet in English before I learned it in French (kthx Barney, kthx) and uhhhh oh yeah, rockin the Sega Genesis with Mortal Kombat (blood included suck it SNES) and Sonic Mortal Kombat movies that were like a complete mindfuck when you'd see them but then you'd realize they were just really awful and oh nobody mentioned this yet (I think) Beverly Hills Ninja? Chris Farley? so sad that guy passed away ![]()

Saying something was copied because it has the same simple drum beat is stupid. That being said, space jam was fucking awesome. (Late 80's kid)

I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm the youngest of four so there was alot of influence from my older brothers. So I played Duke Nukem when I was 5 or 6 and Starcraft too, damn I played a game called "Vermeer" on ATARI TT (and some numbers I don't remember) and ZackMcCracken, Monkey Island 1&2(that was on our Mac PowerPC) and warcraft 2 of course. I also watched saturday morning cartoons when they were good. Too many to list now I think. I strongly believe it has a lot to do with your environment, if you're surrounded by older brothers for example, chances are you skip the shitty pop music like hansons (oh fuck hansons.... HANSONS..kill me pls) aaron carter and stuff like that, and go straight to the old green day music (I don't like them anymore, the new stuff atleast, still love basket case and so on). I hope my text makes any sense :D oh and btw. Vanilla Ice?... really? :o oh yeah and; I liked space jam too ![]()

And to OP, wtf are you smoking? The two songs are not even remotely similar, lol. If you are implying the drum beat is vaguely similar...have you ever listened to any pop/hip-hop/mainstream music of any kind, ever?

You think the stuff you grew up with was cool and new stuff sucks...well, so does the generation before you, and so will the next. And as others have said, being born in the 90s makes you a 00s kid really. I was born in 1990 and basically everything I remember was from like 97 at the earliest. thats where you are wrong .. kinds in 00s doesn't give a flying fuck about theirs all of them are blinded by gizmos bought by their mommies .. none of them doesn't even know how to play with a stick ..

And somewhere on some forum, the thread exists about 80s and how 90s kids should be quarantined. Childhood is such a fun and great period of life.

Can't be objective though ;< too much nostalgia. Stolen from SWF thread, but 100% true: ![]()

The early nineties were good. The mid/late nineties were absouletly horrible and nothing but nostalgia (and the best video games ever) makes you like them. For what reason? Worst mainstream music EVER. We went from Techno and Europop straight into Gagnster Rap... But the comics were way better than nowadays... Batman back then was awesome. TMHT, Spider Man, X-Men, Gargoyles... I was ill last week, i know what nowadays is fed to childs... And alone the new Batman series is just an insult to everyone that ever saw the "old/90ies" Batman...
