I got this tattoo last February, it was the first tattoo that I ever got and it reads "McAuley" my last name, from a distance and in the picture the "c" looks small. I would really like to get a cross, I'm just not sure what kind of cross I want. I'm Roman Catholic and in part it would be in memory of my grandmother who passed away some time ago, but I think about her often. Does anyone have any suggestions on style/designs? If so could you post them up?   | ||

btw an interesting choice in your first tattoo to have all letters capitalized except the c. I would have personally only capitalized the M and the A. | ||

You can narrow it down that way. PLus, the already done tats are filtered ideas... started with an image, then the person's idea, then the artist's interpretation. Grab a camera and go to a church and snap a few pics of what you like. I wouldnt mention youre getting a tat of it though, i dont think that's smiled upon | ||

dont forget to skim the portfolio of the artist that is doing it. you don't want a dude who doesn't typically do crosses to ink you, and you want to see if the stuff they've done in the past is good. | ||
