I noticed my points went down from 700 to 500. Are points entirely relative to the division I'm in or how does that work? And last, will I ever swap division again or am I stuck in this one forever since diamond is the highest division?

I mean I have been facing diamond opponents constantly since I first landed in gold anyway. Besides, with these leagues being broken down into 1000's of separate divisions my rank in one particular division doesn't really tell me anything. I noticed my points went down from 700 to 500. You lose points when going up to another division. It happens because people in Bronze League have 1k points ez.

I believe its so you can't gather 2k points in bronze and then jump to diamond and have the best rank in the world NOOOOOO someone beats me to the dark voice and now i cant even cheat my way into the best ranked player in the world. This is clearly unfair From what i can tell Blizzard decided to make a crazy and illogical ladder system, just cus. ELO means nothing you have a real rank, but they wont tell you what it is. My guess is that's being held back until we all see the light and hail in a new era of micro transactions!

What changes when you enter into diamond is the quality of players you face. When you are in gold, the diamond players you are challenging are probably hovering around 4-500 points (very low). When you start to climb up in diamond, you are playing people over 1000 rated etc. The skill difference is enormous.
