I'll start first with Cevo. They are by far the best online tournament organizers by FAR. I've played in many amateur tournaments and god the organization of most of them were pretty terrible. With Cevo, you have convenient ways to schedule matches online, report the matches, and move onto the next. Admins respond to support tickets relatively fast, as well the option of live voice chat on ventrilo. I got through 10 rounds of their first SC2 tourney and I can say thanks to their client and website it was headache free! CEVO is definitely the future for online SC2 tournaments since they can actually support ridiculous amounts of people.
Cevo Link Just finished my bo3 on round 10 to qualify for the semifinals. TvT is my worse matchup by far and I have absolutely no builds, but I thought you guys would really enjoy game 3.I finally know what people mean by nerves. I used to laugh "haahha you get nervous while playing a video game what a nerd." During the end of set one my hands were literally shaking, I could barely move my units. Game 2 I made the classic nooby mistake and decided to cheese, it epic failed. In game 3 I make a crazy comeback due to pure luck! Note when he unseiged his tanks. Replay!
edit: damnit playing stalife next, he's going to demolish me T_T

im actually mind blow after all the vent support they are offering... god these should be how people organize shits now a day. me like me like
my 1st match is today, wish me luck

Yeah it was really well organized. I went on vent at some random time and got help almost immediately.
QXC beat me yesterday though, so I'm out now

CEVO's problem and success has largely due to the fact that they decided to operate largely in the NA region. Will NA keep up the "demand" though for the oncoming years? We'll see.
That being said, they are hands down the best organizers in any scene right now. I remember for their inaugural DotA tournament, the matches ran across the winter holidays which is a fucking logistical nightmare for 5 man teams to coordinate matches before their respective deadlines when the average team is either traveling/studying for finals/spending time with family/vacationing. Wrote them an email explaining my situation (finals/traveling), they sent a tournament-wide email out and pushed the match deadlines a few weeks back. Handled the situation quickly and nicely (I only needed 2 days), props to them.

Wow, sounds like CEVO really has their organization down tight. I hope they keep this up and become an integral part of the NA Sc2 scene.
I think I'm gonna participate in the next CEVO tournament. I'll get steamrolled, but should be a fun experience.
Just looked at your replays, did you really beat Morrow in TvT? If so, grats man, Morrow is a TvT beast.

Yeah once again, I am very impressed by Cevo and once they start charging entry fee's again, the prize pool will be nice so expect a lot of high level players to join up ^^

I greatly enjoyed Huk getting muted in the vent server and then trying to start a 4v4 with drewbie and a bunch of randoms (including myself). Beautiful!
Edit Oh, I forgot to mention, their client SUCKS. Well, at least when it is overloaded.

I appreciate all of the comments. I try hard to make sure everyone has an enjoyable time with CEVO events.
The next event is actually going to be a season. It will start mid November. This event will be a 4v4 team event, each player will have to 1v1 with a member of the other team, a 2-2 tie will result in a final 1v1 for the tiebreaker. There will be regular season, playoffs, and finals. I hope all of you will join us for Season 1 of SC2.
In between the seasons we will be hosting 1v1 and 2v2 bracket events. This will ensure that CEVO has a SC2 event for people to participate in year round.
On behalf of my staff, as well as myself, thank you very much for the praise. We will continue to strive on providing exceptional support for our customers.
