I rarely play SC2 and maintain ~1200 points. I'm sorry to say, but if there is anything else in your life that you can do, you should pursue that, like school. I hate to be one to stomp on someone's dreams but pro gaming is something else entirely and is not just for everyone.

This is patently false. The "best" people in any field are consistently better than their professional peers, regardless of how much everyone else practices. Think chess, classical music, go, sports, etc.

I was at 1650, but as you hopefully read, yesterday was a HUUUGGGEEE losing spree. My division has no big names, no, but in regards to points that really doesn't matter. Nowhere have I said "Rank 3 in my division".

Was wondering where this blog was, I remember reading it when I first started playing SC2... Not to be a downer, but it doesn't seem to be working, try going doing online tourneys, ones you don't need to travel to, there are plenty and that would help your name get out there.
