Hello! My name is Tianyi "nubster" Liu and I will be coordinating University of Michigan's CSL team this season.

Ever since our debut in the CSL we have been improving by leaps and bounds every season.

Even though many of our strong players have left/graduated last year, we still have many people remaining. We hope to go farther than we did last season (although that's hardly possible lol)

Would anyone be interested in joining [CBW]? If we have a high enough headcount of interested people we might consider doing this too.
Also, anyone have any idea where we can possibly hold LANs? I think we were pretty lucky to be able to use funnytoss's spacious apartment last year, and I'm not sure if the computers in the fishbowl can support SC2 like it did the iccup launcher.

Yeah, you guys better do well this year man, I mean, 2 years without a bowl and ncaa sanction violations. Michigan used to be so good, I guess the coach wasn't up to it.
P.S. I'm sorry for saying this, but college football is just around the corner and I just cannot stop the excitement in me right now. Gettin pumped up for that Va Tech vs Boise State game!!!

...Anyways I'd definitely be down for CBW and you could probably mark me down for CSL (even though I don't even own SC2 yet lol). I'm game for LANs, casual play and the likes; and we'll see about the CSL 
Last season was a friken blast, and I still remember first setting up UM SC last summer with Steven only to get our asses handed to us for the most part (fuck Asgard). So I recommend anyone, including lurkers, to check it out if you go to UMich.

Yeah, Asgard was a crazy map for PvT. Things changed so much between season 2 and 3 - I remember back in season 2 when we first joined, our goal was simply to be able to win a few games and that would be enough, whereas for season 3 the goal was to WIN IT ALL.
And the cool thing is that some of the guys that strengthened our roster in season 3 had already been playing BW at Michigan, we just didn't know about it.
Point being... advertise more guys!

Hi, I'm moving in on the first, as a freshman
I would be interested in playing SCII for fun/for CSL
I played the most in the Beta as Terran and I was Gold/Platinum since i got the Beta end of phase 1, and couldnt get many games in.
I've been playing single player for the majority since the game came out so I'm kinda rusty for multiplayer
I'll PM you the rest of my info.

I'm definitely interested in CBW, probably not CSL, though. I haven't had much time to play, but I'm planning to change that.
Is there any definite word on whether there's going to be a CBW team at UMich?

i just saw a thread talking about MSU's CSL team for this upcoming year... Are we going to fall behind MSU in sc2?? I didn't participate last year but I am ready to play this year. Also me and my roommate have just a 2 person apartment but it is pretty spacious (really spacious for 2 people) and I have been talking to him about making it a good lan location.
