These wise words by mensrea greets all those optimistic and naive souls willing to put their knowledge about Korean progaming to the test. Who could have turned down such a possibility to best a staff member, famous poster or even an admin to gain bragging right at least for a whole season.
Even better, you a relative noname have nothing to lose for who will bother to go through the list to search up your name and make fun of you? No one! So I, embarked on this epic quest soon to realize that although regular voting and zealous following starcraft scene is going to get you only this far as the best results I achieved were some +- top 100 finishes.
This season started worse, a lot worse, a few miscalculations about struggling oldtimers, several underestimated newcomers and absolutely terrible bets in proleague netted me enough points to push me down to shameful 600+ position in the ladder.
Appalled by myself I quit caring and planning and went with gut feeling almost every time, sometimes even prioritizing my favorites over safer bets. Proleague finals f.e.
But, only a while back just before I decided to write this blog I noticed that I am hanging in top 100, better yet, I am 47th with 9 point deficit from the leader and final spurt has already begun. Osl round of 8 is under way, 3/4 of my LqB-ed players has won their first games, only Zero has to make two game comeback, oh well I guess i should have taken into account zerg weakness in the teamkill situations. My two autovotes  Flash and  Jaedong are meeting in MSL final and it is time to take risks. Jaedong whilst clawing his way to finals through two MBC terran powerhouses undoubtedly is underdog in this match especially considering map pool and Flash`s strength on them, but I am going with Jaedong - first many will vote for Flash and if I have to choose between slim chance of getting into the top 10 or yet another near top 100 finsih, choice is easy, secondly as much as I love both these players Jaedong will always be *a little* favored be that he is zerg player, his attitude or simply blind fanboyism.
And effective immediately I will switch my beloved KT Rolster sign with Oz, so there is no doubt which side I am on. (forgive me fOrGG)

Interesting, my stats are reversed, thats probably because of worse start when all was worth 1 point.

I was in the top 5 at one point but tried to go for it all by picking Light over Jaedong in both WCG and MSL. Both came down to the last game, both were close series, and both only had about 3% of the vote picking Light. Lights TvZ is one of the best in the world but this time he wasn't able to beat Jaedong. Those two picks dropped me down a full 8 points so right now I'm at 30th place with 211 points. If I were just a vag and picked like everyone else did I'd be in a tie for 2nd lol =\

I missed so many free points its not even funny (not voting free, voting sea <3, voting light, etc.).
Now I am siting around ~20th. At best was 2nd or 3rd can't remember. Such a fail. 
At least I can brag about an 18 point vote streak? lol...

I wish I didn't fuck around so much at the beginning of this season, picking random teams in PL and earlier SL rounds because there was so many votes at once =(
