I've also noticed a slight decline in performance but I didn't think anything of it. Today I was in windows task manager and noticed that there were NINE svchost.exe running. Is this normal or is it possible that some of them are from malware? Oh additionally when I log in I get a message saying "error loading pfidup.dll" I've tried googling pfidup.dll but can't find anything about it.  | ||

scanning it can't hurt and malwarebytes is probably the best ATM. | ||

spybot search and destroy malwarebytes Boot in safe mode with networking, update both, run and scan with both, done. Goodluck. | ||
