eh.....I'm not a fan of used computer hardware, especially stuff that's probably 2 years old with no warranties and older hardware. You should just spend the $1000 and build one yourself

you can probably build a better computer than that for $700-1000.

A QX6850 that is only @ 3GHz seems a bit funny to me. You could probably push 3.6GHz -3.8GHz out of that processor (not sure if there are G0 QX6850s)...
I'm currently using a computer that was $1200 USD in 2008 with better specs... 700 CAD might be little steep.
By comparison:
Q6600 @ 3.6GHz > Q6850 @ 3GHz
9800GX2 > GTX 260
640GB > 500GB
ASUS P5Q-E > ASUS P5Q
I'm pretty sure you can build a much better rig with similar money these days.

stay away from craiglist's electronics unless you like losing money, it is not worth it and there are no lemon laws to cover you effectively.

Looks good in my opinion.
I don't see anything wrong with the video card. It's not top-notch but not bad either. If you're just gonna play SC2 then it's more than enough. I have a 9800GT and I'm running SC2 at max settings (1920x1080) without any problem whatsoever.

Just because you overclock a CPU a lot doesn't make it better than another CPU. Q6600 especially won't gain much benefit by overclocking. And your rig is so overpriced to boot, 1200 is ridiculous for a 2008 rig with that hardware

at $700 it's not a terrible deal, but that CPU is getting old and showing its age. Q6XXX series were great a couple years ago, but now they lose to even lower end Athlon II X4s. You should be able to build your own computer that is better for about the same.

Don't get too upset over CPU clock speeds unless you are running some sort of rendering app.
modern CPU's are incredibly overpowered for nearly all applications, I run a q6600 at base 2.4 ghz, but with a fairly nice radeon 4870 1gb. I have been able to max out every single new release for the past 2 years barring turning AA down a bit on Crysis. Graphics card is by far the most important piece in your computer (and ram) for gaming.
That said I would not buy this from Craigslist unless you can go check it out and the owner seems very legit and the comp is in good condition. Its not so cheap that you should risk buying old and broken shit off of Craigslist.
