EPTSo I've been seeing a lot of 8 player tournaments going up in the tournaments section. Basically, after 8 players sign up the tournament begins. Each round is bo1 until the final, which is bo3. Generally, only 1 game is played at a time, so that others can obs and theory-craft together.
I think its a great idea. Seeing as there are no chat rooms for arranging such a tournament, TeamLiquid is obviously the best choice for finding players. This is similar to the iron man tournaments from diablo 2, so I'm going to go ahead and dub them that.
Well I'd like to help in the cause for making these more popular. I've created a template banner for anyone that wants to host their own. I'll make more banners in the future.
