Ok, so I didn't know where to post this exactly so I just made it a blog.
Anyways, today I fully read the GSL announcement here and I really was excited about it (as many others are). I would really love to join it and at least play in the offline prelims. Obviously, living on the east coast of America would be kinda hard for this upcoming one, so I'm shooting for the one in January instead giving me, not only time to get money for the flight over there, but time to practice and such.
Which got me thinking, what if I did something like "Hyung Joon becomes a progamer" or "Old Boy"? A series of me playing and trying to get into the prelims and so on for the GSL? It would not only be good for keeping me on track  but give a little entertainment for a while to the community. It'd a lot like the other two (more or less Old Boy) but with me, a random unknown person. What do you all think?

If you have experience with recording videos, it might work.

A lot will ride on the first episode, whether or not it is entertaining. For example, I didn't think HyungJoon would be so entertaining until I saw the first episode and it was so cringe-worthily good.

if you really want people to watch, you need to get SC celebs on your show. I didn't watch hyungjoon until  ret came on in episode 2.

It is a little ironic to refer to "SC celebs" being the drawcard for the show when you mention ret as the example, considering that players like Jaedong, Bisu, Boxer, YellOw, Reach etc. were on that show as well.
I know what you mean, but the sentence does read funny. I didn't watch the show until I heard ret was on it either :p

well, to be fair, ret was the first celeb i recognized. everyone you mentioned didn't come on until later.

Yeah, not that good myself, I always thought that I would need a group to help out with this, probably a small group. Cameraman, editor, etc...

I did realize I would need celebs. This could possibly be the hardest part of doing a series, I could possibly see a few getting on it, but I highly doubt that it'd work well with that.
Anyways, while I was at work today, I came across the idea of making a daily/weekly video blog instead. Just in case the mini series becomes too hard to do. Thoughts?
