This equals truth! It would make sense. If kerrigan controlling the zerg is what stops the Hybrids than it would seem logical that Duran would want her to turn back into a human so she would not stand in his way. Whether she is dead or just not infested the effect will be the same for the Hybrids, No one to contest their control over the broods... Never the Less, I was really stoked to see her human again, I want a kerrigan of my own... haha.

One thing I wanna bring up about the last mission in Wings of Liberty

About the 3rd or 4th time you beat Kerrigan, you can vaguely hear her saying "Don't give up!" I tend to think that Blizzard carefully plant this in here, and that means Kerrigan definitely want to return to human form.

Part of the storyline was her and Jim competing for the XelNaga artifacts, so maybe she wanted them for the same reason Jim did.

This raises the question, will Kerrigan be reinfested? Personally i Don't think so, Blizzard is better at writing stories than that.

Either way i think we can really expect some interesting story in the next expansion.

This is my speculation none of it is true. Think as if kerrigan had been able to see what was going on all this time unable to control her body. Think about what you would do if you controlled the zerg army and been betrayed by someone the way mengsk did her. Now think about a single player as a general/cerabrate of that woman as she takes her revenge.

I for one can't fucking wait.

i just thought blizzard left the hair as it was, becuase a kerrigan with no hair ---> insane
i don't think it has to do anything with the "she-is-still-zerg" image, just the way blizzard always bypasses situations to make it look better =)

Haven't you guys seen the video that was leaked? It was the ending and she had powers.

3 takes

-Before Wings of liberty timeframe (least likely)
-She wasn't actually healed by the artifact (again, unlikely)
-She regained powers (through the campaign) and became her zerg self again.(most likely since it would fit in with getting units later, such as at beginning only having lings, then she gets more powerful and others like roaches start to believe in her or something.)

The whole plot is wacko jacko, it's weird considering that from my understanding it's a lot of the same people. I don't know where they lost the compelling characters and story arcs between Brood War and SC2.

Personally I hope something about the overmind is going to come up in Heart of the Swarm, I didn't really enjoy the retconning in WoL.

The way I see (or would like to see) the plot going is that Kerrigan is no longer infected, but retains her psionic link with the Zerg and some degree of control over them. With her personality back to normal, she would use her powers to ally the Zerg forces and the Terran to fight the hybrids together. (This would fit Zeratul's statement that she'll be a key element to the defeat of the hybrids).

Relating to the expansion's title, Kerrigan IS the heart of the swarm, giving them a reason to make peace with the Terran and fight the hybrids for a greater good.

WoL story absolutely blew balls

a deinfested Kerrigan because Raynor has sentimental thoughts about her makes a whole lot less sense than deinfesting Kerrigan for the purpose of removing her control over Zerg and punishing her for her crimes against humanity and Protoss

anyways, Kerrigan is going to be reinfested because she has to be able to control the Zerg so that the protoss/zerg hybrids don't.

Zeratul says Kerrigan must live otherwise the protoss/zerg hybrid takes over Zerg. I assume a human Kerrigan can't control Zerg, thus Kerrigan must be reinfested
