I was going to save my 1000th post for something better but I felt this was really important and decided to share!
Right now, amazon is offering a free year of amazon prime membership to anyone with a .edu address. gives you free two-day shipping on lots of stuff.

More importantly...it gives you free RELEASE DAY shipping. This means back in the day when you preordered to help TeamLiquid on amazon, you can modify from the FREE SUPER SAVER shipping to the FREE RELEASE DATE shipping.
Just wanted to let you guys know!

If you ordered it with another item it won't allow release date shipping.
At least, not when you're going through initial checkout.

It may not be that you can't get the collectors edition on release date... I dunno... but the guy at amazon said I couldn't change the shipping option without having to cancel the order and place a new one and the collector's edition was sold out temporarily so it wasn't a good idea...
