I want to eat this.
Notes:
It's been over ten months since I last made one of these question blogs. A hell of a lot has changed. I'm bored to pieces and attempting to ignore food cravings so go for it TL.
Ask me anything.

Also I have developed problems with my hips from all the crouching involved. I'm not sure tbh. I'm going to be going to Japan for a holiday with my Mum in January and we'll see from there. I'm likely to remain in Seoul, but go for lots of weekend breaks to Japan and hopefully China too.

We have lots of different nationalities, fashion styles, life styles etc. I think for Korea it's mainly the unique points such as being able to go to live SC, and concerts that is enjoyable. I'll list the main differences after work :D

I'm an unlucky person in terms of; + My looks. + My tendancies to be highly strung. + Things like competitions and raffles. Otherwise it's pretty middle of the road aside from considering myself very lucky to have the Mum, friends and hobbies (aka. SC) that I do. I also feel like I'm lucky to have landed a good job which allows me freedom and a chance to do fun things. 1) The ability to change my appearance (like Mystique from X-Men.) It's the thing which most often depresses me. 2) To remove suffering from people all over the world. I wish things like poverty and disease could be eliminated. Some of the things that happen to people overseas (and even in my own country which is relatively well off/has good health care) are just too cruel. 3) I'd kind of love to be able to teleport (like in Heroes.) It'd sure make going to PL finals easier!

I eat small amounts of wholemeal bread (about a half loaf each week) which I use to make salad and chicken breast/or tuna sandwiches or plain toast. I also eat a tonne of tofu, some brown rice from time to time and millions of veggies. My shopping list is this; + Show Spoiler + Wholemeal bread. Eggs. Salad packs. Vegetables (seasonal and regular.) Fruits (seasonal and regular.) Tofu. Yooboo tofu. Baked beans. Tuna. Canned chicken breast. Canned corn. Canned peas. Herbs. Nuts. Pulses and grains. Brown rice. Kimchi. Lean cuts of meat. Soy sauce. Soy oil. Soy milk. Yogurt. Curry powder. Salad dressings (mainly balsamic) Wholemeal cereal.

Research the conditions you're most likely to be choosing to photograph, and your budget before you invest in any equipment. There are a lot of different factors including whether you want to do landscapes/portraits, interior/exterior, sports etc photography and they definitely influence what type of lenses/models and accessories you will require. I think shooting a variety of different locations/styles and people is really good for finding out how you like to work, and what style of photos you're most interested in doing.

I kind of feel as though rice is really bland/stodgy/pointless, and for my body it makes me feel bloated/crampy. I tend to balloon up in weight if I eat it more than once a week. I only use it now upon the rare occasions we have curry rice or jajjang rice for school lunches. Otherwise I avoid it entirely unless I absolutely cannot. I do eat quite a bit of Korean food - I love their non-seafood side dishes and soups, but I mainly cook for myself now. I'm experimenting more with Korean items like Korean melon these days :D

3) I'd kind of love to be able to teleport (like in Heroes.) It'd sure make going to PL finals easier! well, if ur actively trying to eat better and change ur appearance thats a step in the right direction. maybe u r too hard on ur own looks. confidence, clothes, personality -- all these things help u convey a better projected image to others. ur probably much better looking than u give urself credit for, mad peeps r asking for pics in here. u might not be able to change ur face like mystique, thats not within ur control. but there r many things about ur appearance that ARE within ur control. for example, ur boobs. u could get breast implants. according to the NSBA 2005 results, 88% of survey respondents felt "breast augmentation is a personal choice that helps women achieve the confidence and well-being to flourish in other areas of their lives." if u do choose to go this route, please go all the way. don't just get small increase, go huge. get ur money's worth. u want to be able to walk around and just destroy other girls, they will be so envious. ask urself this -- if it was free and easy surgery, would u do it? if money is the only object i know the average cost is pretty high, but i'm willing to donate and i'm sure ur other fans would be willing to donate too. i'm sorry this post was offensive but u live in korea, and so many girls there get plastic surgery for eyes and face and chest, its frankly pretty unfair to those who r all natural.

I *hate* romance dramas so I tend to stick to Tokusatsu with a side of things like Trick, Puzzle, Liar Game, Tumbling, Rookies, Gokusen (eventhough series 3 was SHIT) The Quiz Show, Mr. Brain. I do like comedies as long as the romance is minimal. Things like My Boss, My Hero and Kaibutsu-kun are fun. I love seeing Arashi acting. I never, ever watch Kdramas since the plots/cliches/characters tend to make me angry. Right now I'm just dying until the Gantz movies come out.

It's pretty strong so it's best to eat it with something bland like brown rice or steamed veggies. I'm trying different things like making my own curry sauce etc when I have the time. Tofu scramble with veggies and herbs is good too - just steam your tofu or microwave it for 2 minutes and then mash it up with some steamed veggies and herbs. ![]() That's pretty rude - just because you don't like the sound of it doesn't mean you have to insult my cooking. I'm not great, but at least I *try* unlike a lot of lazy slobs who just reach for the take out menu or a microwave meal. Also, I understand what you mean about cooking. It is way too easy to be lazy and skip making proper meals ![]() Definitely. I did that for way too long, now I'm controlling everything strictly and trying to improve my diet with every meal. I know it's not cool, or trendy to be so anal about my lifestyle, but it makes me feel better when I am in control of it.

I can sort of agree with that :D The major problem, though, is that some people do a little much in the name of "you only live once." If you go overboard you might end up with various problems related to weight which would definitely NOT be a good way to enjoy life. Also, being fit and healthy makes you feel really good. Not just in a "I feel good about myself" way but in a very real way. A healthy life is not to be taken for granted!

I can see your point, but... I'm not doing it for anyone except myself. I'm not looking to attract guys or anything. I just felt really uncomfortable at that weight, and I feel quite uncomfortable at this weight. So, I don't really care if anyone else cares - it's all about my feelings towards it. If I eat whatever I want I'll balloon into some massive whale very quickly - I already feel self-conscious enough without being fat on top of everything else that is wrong. Also I'm investing in better health for my middle-age/old age hopefully.

It's actually a place where people who cannot own pets (maybe due to family members with allergies, living arrangements, or like in my case lack of space.) can go to see the pets they, themselves otherwise couldn't. I find it comforting to go pet some cats since I am thousands of miles away from my own pet moggy. It's got nothing to do with showing off your own pets. The cat cafes don't allow outside cats - the dog ones allow outside dogs so they can socialize with other dogs.

I just found out you were a girl, and that was after sitting through half of DoctorHelvetica's story of you getting "Kwanrolled", all the while thinking it was supposed to be a homo story ==; As to what people were saying about eating, I eat a ton and I'm actually too skinny... I think my favorite event I've ever covered was the EVER OSL finals between July and BeSt. I don't know why since it was also a lot of hassle with the torrential rain, and being messed about by certain people. However, it was somehow very fun at the same time. I liked seeing a veteran player surprising everyone like that.

He wrote the Kwanro/NeverGG epic fanfiction based on my one 'sexy' progamer dream :/ I would love to still be that type of photographer, but I'm a really highly strung and neurotic person so after that period of living in the hostel for three months cleaning toilets and feeling like crap whilst photographing eSports seven days a week it became more like a tool to keep me going. I feel as though now I do it much less often and don't even really take the camera out for non-esports shoots more than once every few months I appreciate the sensation of photography more. I do put a tonne of pressure upon myself to get perfect shots for TL and measure myself against the very best (Mr. Kang) which often leads to feeling terribly lacking. I am trying to just appreciate my skills for what they are these days and not worry so much about letting people down.

2: How is it that you're teaching English in Korea? I asked Mani months ago if he was going through JET, which he is, and to the best of my understanding most if not all English teachers in Japan are linked with JET. However, with Korea, it seems that it's something of a crap shoot, where sometimes you're with an agency (but there are many) or other times you're signed directly onto the school. Can you confirm and/or fact-check any of this?

Can you confirm and/or fact-check any of this? It varies, but I mainly steam it, or fry it in soy oil and then make dips or add sauces. I like it mapo-style sometimes, but others I want it firm. I went through a recruiter after University. It's definitely quite random unless you go through a scheme such as EPIK or GEPIK which places people in public schools. Most recruiters deal with private school (hagwon) placements. It's not really an agency style arrangement since free-lancing is not allowed here. So unless you're public school where you're part of a governed organization's teachers then you're always signed directly to the school on an E-2 visa. (As far as I'm aware.)

I *hate* Seaweed soup and anything made with stinky fish. The smell turns my stomach. I'm also not a fan of Korean fried chicken. ForGG 4life.

I do feel as though I don't get other people a lot of the time though. I also think my standards of judging their behavior by what I'd do can lead to a lot of problems with making friends. I recently decided not to have offline friends any more (except for Susie.) because of this difficulty with connecting with people socially. I'm not interested in a lot of things most people seem to find cool, and I expect too much from them so it's easier to just stick to online people. o____O Is this partially because you're in Korea and surrounded by people with whom you can communicate in your second language only? I know some people who've immigrated to Canada who become frustrated sometimes because they can't express themselves fully in english. ![]() Or is it because you want to be close to your real-life friends, like best friends, but this doesn't work out because very, very few people can ever be a person's close friend? I used to be in that situation, myself. Nowadays, I really don't "get" anyone -- I'd be surprised if anyone "gets" anyone -- but I don't think about it. I have a lot of fun with, and even learn a lot from, guys who are very different from me. And we don't stress each other out, for the most part. Of course, I could be completely off. Individual differences can be inconceivable. I'ts a combination of both. I also feel as though my style of interacting with people is wrong in some way. So it puts people off me since I don't do normal things most of the time. There is no wrong way to interact with people. Just be yourself, if someone doesn't like it they won't, if they do they do. Just be comfortable with who you are, and don't care about negative comments people give. You come off as really sensitive to negative criticism (I could see why if it was someone incorrectly bashing your photography) but aside from that there is no reason to get bent out of shape. If someone is a completely dbag to you, or won't accept you for who you are then they obviously weren't worth associating with. Also, normal is overrated.

I hardly eat any of those 3 at all -- sour cream is too fatty, mcdonalds is OK about once a year, and mayonnaise in any quantities larger than half-a-teaspoon is just gross (I mostly just use it as a lubricant* on sandwiches). * To fuck them, not eat them.

My game collection runs something like this; All Resident Evils (except 5 since it was released after I came here and all the shitty lightgun games.) All Silent Hills except the latest one. Fatal Frame 1-3. Forbidden Siren. Final Fantasy 7-12. MGS 1-3. A smattering of other RPGs, survival horrors, and random games. Console collection back home; PS, PS2, DS, Gamecube, Xbox. I have my DS in Korea too :D Sadly I've only got Phoenix Wright 1/2 for it ;_; My favorite console games are probably Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 3. I do love being about as stealthy as an elephant covered in bells in MGS 2 though. I long to play Pokemon again - I remember bunking off lessons to sit on the roof balcony of my sixth form's house and play them on a friend's Gameboy. Good times. 3DS sounds intriguing, but I still prefer consoling to hand held over all so I'd probably prioritize buying a PS3 or a Wii over it. I kind of find Asian guys speaking really bad English to be totally endearing. This goes for any foreigner tbh as long as they're not being a douche. My Mum thinks Pholon's voice is totally hot.

I've done photoshoots for guys before (who were not progamers) It's kind of fun, but I don't know tbh. Full frontal and bum shots tend to make me laugh. As do those shoots with strategically placed items covering the man bits. I'd prefer to do a fully clothed shoot just showing off a bit of skin (such as the back, arms, collar bone area etc.) dont be so hard on urself. isn't ur blog rated in the top 10 of all teamliquid? ur the #1 girl blog too so that says something. maybe its not guys problem, maybe u just have too high standards? u should try dating some fat guys, they never get any action. i don't mean like so fat can't see feet fat guys, but more like a little fat that if u motivated them they would not be fat. it really works, when i am down i always hang out at the dairy queen and ask fat girls out, it really boosts ur confidence. .........but I like chubby guys. No really. thats srsly perfect. these guys never get asked out ever. they r just happy anytime a girl talks to them bc its so unexpected. u'd be their goddess. don't be afraid. fat guys they r harmless unless they r on top of u or have gained lots of momentum. but if ur still scared, try boosting ur confidence even more by going 1 level higher. thats right, talk to even fatter guys. not so fat that u like retch and throw up but maybe 1 step below that. u will succeed 99.9% of the time. u dont have 2 go out with them, tho maybe if ur poor u can get a free dinner or something, it'd be the highlight of his week.
