Baseball people know how to present stats. Their fans are passionate and they know how to tell you about the numbers in an easy to read way. Its impressive, but I've never been so blown away as when I discovered this. It the Blue Jays boiled into their core components, a series of icons.

I don't see why Brood War can't be this easy. We're busy people, we want to know how our team did with nothing more than a quick glance.

No doubt, but having a high kespa ranking doesnt automatically make you the better player.

While I do agree that KeSPA ranking is far from being a perfect indicator of skill, I think people give it less credit than it deserves. I would say that about 80% of the time, someone who's a higher KeSPA ranking playing someone who's lower is a solid favorite.

ELO is a better indication of current skill I guess, but I think it's much harder to use it to predict wins, helped in part by the often minute differences in rating.

I actually completely agree with that. If I want to look at who are the best atm in overall skill I like the kespa ranking a lot better than say the power rank cause it shows whos been good for a while now, not whos just been getting some good results over a few weeks.

That being said it obviously doesnt account for someone who's as new and fresh as snow is, even though snow is atm playing better than many players above him in kespa ranking and imo certainly does belong to those 20% against many players.
For good reason because snow hasn't truely proven that much yet (except how to play PvT in a truely sexy fashion) but I think it's gonna happen eventually cause I see a huge amount of potential in this kid.
