But yeah, she was infinitely better when she performed at IEF. Last time, she just looked like she wanted to bolt, but this time she actually looked as if she put some effort into the performance.

I have no idea how she has looked in the past, but your pics of her were very sharp. What cam did you use to capture the images? And how close were you?

I used my regular combination of Canon EOS 5D with 70-200m IS USM f/2.8 lens. I was in press position with the other journalists as usual.

I didn't know she was so young. I guess it's a *bit* more understandable why she sometimes gives rubbish performances which lack energy then. I know everyone has off days, especially at that age.

17 isn't amazingly young... although to have that sort of responsibility and popularity at that age could possibly be somewhat damaging. Still she's pretty cute and you definitely captured some cool moments.
