i think the problem is that when you move up/down from leagues from good or bad play accordingly, the system doesnt replace you in your league. So if my whole division just so happened to all move up from silver to gold except for one guy. that one guy would STAY the only guy in the division until the next reset.
THIS IS THE PROBLEM. That's how we get a bloated amount of divisions. replace players and this wont happen.
p.s. just my personal opinion if you dont play a ladder match for like 3 weeks i'd put you back in placement. its a pet peeve to see a bunch of 4-1, 5-0, 3-2's crowding the divisions.

I agree, this will also give a more competative feel to the game, if you don't play enough, you'll fall in ranks and be demoted

they don't replace the people who move up? How do you know? I was not aware of this.

can't they merge division?
so if there are 2 devisions of 50 players they would get merged and players would be ranked by points

If the system is anything like WoW arena, there will be seasons and every season everyone will reset and start going up the ladder again.
But it's not really a problem that will affect you imo.

They just need to get rid of the division system
Only ego-noobs cry when they see that they are #256456 on the ladder.

Wow is this really true? It doesn't fill the vacant spots when someone gets moved out? That's a pretty huge bug.

i agree there is something wrong with the ladder, and i agree with the above post
also, from the OP, i u move up a div, someone should move down, and take ur spot, to many divs for each group makes for a stupid ladder

they dont merge divisions. this is why often times if you look, early divisions like divisions 1-10 for silver leagues etc grow increasingly empty as time goes by.
If you guys want example id's and ladder pages just ask 
im glad im not the only one who thinks this is a problem though.
