Let's be clear - I am not in the beta, that doesn't mean that I don't have an opinion
1) the Patch 9 comsat scan seems "too obvious"
2) they should really increase the collision on most units (i don't know how this plays out in game, it just seems hard to distinguish units in VODs - could be low quality, could be personal inexperience with the game, could be issue with the game.
3) I have not yet seen a well done decal.
4) some of the colours look really similar, like the blue/cyan, probably not a huge issue if you're playing, but Blizzard is trying to make this an E-sport so there will be a "non-gamer" audience (if they are sucessful) whom i can see having an issue with that.
5) the Unit ranking system if retarded I hope they are only doing this to show what might be in the map editor, this really doesn't impact gameplay, just personal opinion
6) I would be remiss if I didn't mention the collision deal again, it really seems to be a bad idea when directed at non-gamer audiences - people watching for the action and not the strategy. Seems really dulled down when "that blob of guya beat the other blob of guys" - actual quote taken from my girlfriend after watching a VOD - (edit) my girlfriend is not entirely stupid on starcraft either - or she wouldn't be my girlfriend

Scan was already incredibly obvious with its massive blue lights flailing about, IMO. I don't think it's meant to be something sneaky.
The colour issue is really horrible, especially in 2v2; when my ally's teal I can barely tell our units apart on the minimap. I also still have trouble telling who's who in protoss zeal battles.
I do agree on collision sizes as well, but ingame they feel perfect; we just need better quality streams really.

Try differentiating Roaches ._.
What's wrong with ranking system? It was in BW, and it didn't affect anything, it's just a flavor thing...

Is there a way to change colours like in BW with alt+tab?

1. It's supposed to be obvious. 2. Colisions? I don't understand what you mean. In the game everything looks fine. 3. What? 4. You can change the colors, just like in bw. 5. YOu are retarded, its just a number. 6. 2.

The collisions look small (i'm guessing you mean the units are packed too tightly) in streams but I think that's mostly because of the resolution and also size if you don't watch them full screen

the problem with colors and alt+f though, is that on ladder the colors are always the same. Red/Blue in 1v1 or Green/red. Then in 2v2 you get blue/red vs cyan/purp OR green/yellow vs red/red.
When both opponents are red, it sucks. If your ally says 'attack purp' you gotta toggle real fast to see who that is. If they are both red toss enemies, you can't tell who just sac'd there army to you and to who to counter. But alternatively, its bad as well. If you have a blue toss ally, and there is also a cyan toss enemy, it can be very difficult to differentiate them.
And this is all onscreen related.
For the minimap, it is a bitch to just see a red blob/blip on the map when it can be 2 different people.
need random colors for 2v2, or at least red/orange for enemies.
