So ya, this mainly just a request, figured blogs have been successfull for other people so i'd ask for help here.
Main thing im looking for is a good MIC but not a desk stand on, mostly like head phones with mic attached, but im up for suggestions.
im only willing to spend 40$ (maybe a little more if you highly recommend it)
Basically im a high ranked plat player having gone 209-64 before the reset. i play zerg, and havnt seen many people who "play while talking" like orb for zerg. Although im not particularly lookin to get as popular as him, i'd like to give back to the community. and i may not be the best in the usa for zerg, but i'm very consistent and play creatively and keep up with all the current events in sc, so ill be able to talk plenty and answer questions.
*edit* on another note, if youc an find one like on walmart (i know nothing about mic's so they all just say "sound canceling mic" which doesnt differentiate them at all then awesome, ill start today

aw too bad you missed the $15 + $5 shipping Steelseries Headphone on woot that someone posted earlier...
But honestly if you don't care for sound quality or w/e, just get any $25-$30 logitech headset. They should work fine
And if you do commentate while livestreaming, I will definitely tune in

i would be careful with these
depending on your computer, you may hear a constant buzzing noise in the background when using clearchat's it's annoying as hell. i bought a pair and returned it the next day cause it was just so bad.
edit: just to clarify this isn't because i got a defective pair, i would've had the same issue with every single logitech clearchat usb headset. it's a grounding issue that logitech hasn't resolved

I'm interested for replies because i need one as well, however i am able to spend 10-20, maybe 30 dollars more if any really good ones get around that price

i was looking at plantronics headphones before as well and thought for sure that was what i'd get with all there good reviews, but it seems they dont say anything dfiferent about there mic's, and since sound quality isnt my big thing, im curious what the difference is? cuase walmart or bestbuy have a few plantronics headphones to choose from.
any other input disregard? would enjoy it. also thanks for the logitech advice, and the recomendation. since i woudlnt really mind the buzzing just while casting (i use speakers when not casting) i may get that if just for the "cheapness" aspect, but i'd really like the platonics if someone could tell me what the differences in mic quality are lol

umm just to elaborate, the buzzing is the background when you speak you'll hear it on your recordings etc the headphones are actually quite decent on the clearchats the mic's just a piece of shit (well if the grounding is an issue for your pc. it might be quite good otherwise, not sure)
