Computer Specs: Windows vista service pack 1 Intel Core Duo E 4500 @ 2.20 GHZ 2 GB Ram Nvidia Geforce 7100/ Nvidia Nforce 630i (I know i know it's integrated to the motherboard and sucks.. parents bought it for me !) 187 GB of free harddisk space.
So I'm a computer newb, but i bought this comp 3 years ago and thought it'd run SC2 decent. It's beyond slow. I'm running at like 10 FPS right now with everything on low..... Is it my comp? and if it was what would be some decent upgrades to get??

its probably your graphics card
90% sure it's your graphics card. Your processor is fine for medium(according to FragKrag's thread), RAM is sufficient, and harddrive space is obviously sufficient as well. Unless your resolution is wonky or something...
You didn't mention how much MB your nvidia has. So change your SC2 graphics settings according to your system:
128 MB - Low 256 MB - Medium 512 MB - High 1 GB - Ultra
* I'm writing these by memory, so don't blame me if I'm wrong...
ah ok, how do i find out the memory of the card??? it's a stupid imbedded one... oh and any suggestions?? I know it can be a pain upgrading the card when you have one imbedded because they conflict like crazy or is there ane asy way to bypass that?
if you have a friend with a graphics card you could test with before buying one, to see if there will be issues switching over, that could work. i had issues with my old comp but i had heard/thought it was more because of it being a Dell rather than the problem solely being with the integrated card
video card is your problem, dude.
I have a card two steps up from this on my lan rig and it can only handle low with a few things on medium. Pick yourself up a GTS 250/260/270 they are reasonably priced and will more than satisfy the requirements for SC2.

Thanks a ton guys! Just got the new card up and installed, the game looks SOOOOO much better and it's running tons smoother

crap i was gonna try n sell u a video card

Vista on 2GB RAM might also contribute. I thought the minimum for vista was 4GB.
