EPTI took this as a chance to check out the skill level difference between gold and platinum. I've only played 5 or 6 games but the last three were against decently ranked platinum players. (top 30 in there division)
One of them had an ELO of 1500+ and was paired against my <1200 ELO. So what's the purpose of having divisions if you just get paired with much higher plat players? I originally assumed that the 1400+ gold players were playing vs mid-high plat players but this system feels pretty bugged. I'm basically playing the same caliber of opponents now as I was before my reset (1500+ plat)
