Kal always gets blocked by Jaedong deep in tournaments. With Jaedong out of the picture, he might make a run for it.

I would really like to think free is the best Protoss right now. But then I think free is the best Protoss there is any time that's remotely possible...

Movie is terrible. Look at his PvPs and PvTs - it's very shaky and easy to exploit. Even in his PvZ, he was in serious danger of losing to Hogil whereas in, for example, Kal vs. Kwanro, Kal just controlled the game straight up from the minute it started and never gave his opponent a chance. Compare Kal vs. Flash to Shuttle vs. Flash in WL to see the vT different. Shuttle is probably better at continuous macro than Kal, but is still overall the weaker player.

Have you not watched any of Movie's recent PvP games? Or any of his PvT games? Excellent control (his PvT decision making can be really bad though). And comparing a game>10minutes vs. Hogil and vs. Kwanro is so bad. I mean, Kwanro let a dt kill 10 drones when he had detection and hydras at the base. Also, Shuttle did not practice hard for Flash in WL since I doubt he was expecting 3 kills.Unlike Kal and Calm who mut have praticed very hard to snipe. Also, why was Shuttle, and not Kal, sent out to snipe in R4 ace match vs KT expecting Flash?

And you still have not addressed the issue with Free. I do agree Kal is playing better than Stork and Shuttle OVERALL, but he is not superior. Once again, I am not arguing Kal is not great, I am arguing that Kal is not a league ahead of everyone else.
