Well here I am. Pulling another all nighter.

For anyone in university/college, I'm sure you guys are on the same boat? Term is almost over and it's like... test studying time or essay writing time. sigh.

I swear, the last 2 weeks, I've never had more than 4 hours sleep on any given night and have pulled about 4 all nighters including tonight.

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

I'm just so tireddddddddddddd, omg.

I'm just writing this blog, hoping that I'm not the only one feeling this pain. SOMEONE RELATE to me please, so I could feel better lol.

Jokes guys.

But yea, good luck everyone with your exams!!! =)

I got my 2nd last final in less than 4 hours and I've been up all night studying for it. (Still confuzzled though)

I totally feel your pain, although my problem is usually procrastinating and that's why I have to pull all-nighters.

i never pull all nighters for studying because im far too lazy for that and like going into tests with sleep. But it does happen for like papers i have to do and stuff because im sadistic and like putting something off until the night before knowing it's going to take me like 10 hours to do.

And i know im going to do it every single god damn time, and there's not a thing i can do about it. I always think I could do it early, but there is definitely some heavenly force willing me away from doing it so as to cause no stress

I'm pulling all-nighters all the time. Not for schoolwork though, but for OSL matches :D

I can't pull studying all-nighters anyway. I just can't understand how people can study something for 8 hours while falling asleep and keep their attention and actually learn anything. I'd lose interest in 10 minutes of reading notes and fall asleep, so it's just easier to pay attention in class and then not study for tests (or not as much anyway).

But OSL man...yeah that's another story.

I disagree.
All nighters can be funny when you are studying something interesting. But when its is for bs classes it is really an horrible thing. I will never miss lolconomics or Law all nighters for example.

Also from my personal experience sometimes you can get a better grade without studying at all ( and i only went to half of the lectures lol ) than if you have studied during all the night.

Usually i think that all nighters are quite counterproductive for stuff like maths.

I never pulled an all-nighter in my life, regardless if it's for studying or socializing, I always slept a little, at least 1-2hours.

It makes me feel like I missed out on something.

I find that if it gets down to 1-2 hours, you're better off just not sleeping at all.

You probably didn't prepare beforehand and wasted time, pushing everything to the last second. Usually, there's no reason to be pulling all nighters since teachers normally give plenty of notice before exams and such. Just get better study habits and you should be fine, unless you are in a bunch of clubs and have a job and you have to pull all nighters.

I just pulled one 2 days ago, for some marketing report. I will probably pull another one tomorrow for a boring essay. It feels so awful during the night but when you go the bed, knowing that you have finished a nice chunk of it.. now that feels nice.

2 hours is a good length to sleep because when you wake up you'd be waking up in stage 1 sleep aka REM

the best way to not being efficient and productive is to sleep "4 hours a night". Sleeping 4 hours a night suggests that you're allocating 20 hours a day to studying. Which is moronic because it creates situations similar to;

"FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I'm just so tireddddddddddddd, omg. ....I've been up all night studying for it. (Still confuzzled though) "

if my math is correct, if you sleep 8 hours a night, it leaves 16 hours per day. You can be way more productive with 16 hours of being solidly awake and fresh, than by being braindead for 20 hours a day. If for some strange reason, 16 hours a day is NOT sufficient, than my guess is to start your final-studying//essay-writing a little earlier in the term. if that doesnt work, you're in the wrong major or at the wrong school.

Hrm. I must be smart.
Except, instead of studying for 20 hours a day, i end up studying for about 1 hour a day.
Weird how these things happen.

i sleep 4 hours a night naturally, as do many other people i know, doesn't seem to lower our performance. And why would you be studying every waking second anyways, i think that would rather make you braindead.

Besides even when you're pulling allnighters half the time you're procrastinating because it's painful doing things when you're tired so you need to preserve your sanity

sleeping 4 hours a night is NOT healthy for 99% of people. only a tiny minority is genetically configured to do so on a regular basis without damaging their health. u might be included in those....

but the general rule is; 4 hours a night ==> zombie.
