Take two light weights (3 to 5 pounds) and hold one in each hand. Hold your arms straight out in a T-shape, with your hands at shoulder-height. From here, do any of a number of movements for as long as possible. You can: - spin your hands in small circles - rotate your palms to face up then down then up, etc. - shrug your shoulders - just hold the weights there It makes you feel awfully weak, because you're thinking, "What? Only three pounds!?" It's all about the torque, though. When you hold your arms straight out, there's a long distance from the weights in your hands to your center of mass.

Although maybe that's too much hassle and not helpful in his work environment, but it's very inexpensive on the plus side.

On the other end of the rope is a T-junction piece of TVC pipe that you insert through the center circle of a 2.5lbs - 10lb weight(depends). Wrap it up completely and hold it STRAIGHT out in front of you, it is critical that you do not allow your arms to fall down. Slowly unwrap it with your palms facing down until the rope is about to run out, then bring it back up slowly. You can do the same with your palms facing up to work out separate parts of the forearm. Best burn I've ever gotten in my forearms hands down and it was completely new to my forearms since I normally just do wrist curls. . try rock climbing EDIT: You have to give us a bit more information about your situation OP is this pain just muscular soreness? tendon/carpel tunnel type stuff? joint issues? actual impact injury? what exactly are you doing at your job?
