I've spent the last two or three days more or less on top of my silver league, and I was finally moved into a Gold league about an hour ago (after I won a game vs a Platinum player, I think).
I've been trying to use lings more after watching Mind vs LaLush in the ESL finals, to varied effect. Against a robo-bay protoss the ling/hydra combo can be pretty amazing, as well as doing run-bys vs a bio T. I'm still staying away from Roaches in everything but ZvZ; I find hydras generally better and I have an easier time with hydra micro.
My goal for the next couple days is starting to get my infestor building at a regular timing and add infestor play to my reportoire. I feel that with that, I'd be much more viable against a mid or late-game bio T. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with a MMM ball? A lot of what I'm seeing on the forums calls for banelings, and I haven't played around with them too much.
I'm also looking for a ZvP practice partner; reciprocate.eloen in-game if you're interested.

MMM ball. Mass roach off two base. if he has too many marines its insta lose for him

If you mass roaches he's gonna Marauders for sure.
A question, what about taking control of medic with infestor? Then you can reaped out his Marines&Marauders right?

for me as a terran, roach into muta is really hard to handle.

I am stacked at the gold league atm t.t, does anybody know what is the cut off between gold/platinum? im leading my division for 3 days now

I beat a platinum guy today, and just after the game was over i was moved down to gold league, at the very bottom of it too. Bleh!

Yup, you gotta waiting for the wave of promotions. I was leader of a Gold division for a week. Fortunately, all the games you are playing against platinum players now is boosting your ELO for when you actually get promoted.

I was playing silver league and did fine against terrans...a bit back and forth. As soon as I moved to gold league I got RUN OVER by marauders 3 times in a row. Ragequit and now im trying to figure out another strategy to try.

Same for me as a protoss lol Muta and roaches are a bit imba still I think, not saying protoss units arn't (collosus and immortal but then again, stalkers arnt nearly buff as they should be)

I never use mutalisk, seems to die very fast and you cant micro them properly (ie like in scI) - how exactly do you get beaten by that combo? (a)
