In any competition, there are always great rivalries. Teams that absolutely hate each other, and the only reason is that they are rivals.

Typically rivalries are between teams who face each other often. In most competitions, this is because the teams are close geographically. And, in the CSL, there are no two teams closer together than Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. These two campuses not only reside in the same city, but mere walking distance from each other.

In every sport, be it hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball, you name it, these teams have always been rivals. And, with the sheer ass-whooping that the U of O does to Carleton in just about every sport, it makes me question how anybody could choose to go to such a second rate University, when a clearly superior one is right nearby.

During a pre-season exhibition match for the CSL, there was much trash talking. We can only imagine how things will go when these two teams actually face.

Recently, the two captains of these teams duked it out in a "friendly" match on HBR. A quick battle report will go to show how "friendly" it actually was.....

Impervious, Captain of the UOttawa team, spawning in the blue Zerg pieces.

Rigel, Captain of the Carleton team, spawning in teal Terran pieces.

Hoping to catch Rigel sleeping, Impervious attempts a 9 pool.

Fortunately, Rigel does not fall for the trap, and puts down his barracks early.

Oh, Hi there.

Ooooh. Things are starting to get interesting. Blood has been drawn by both sides.

Everything is looking normal so far.

Or not?

Well, he's in for a shock.

Definitely something fishy going on.

Unluckily for Rigel, Impervious had made more lings than he predicted, and he ends up letting a few Zerglings through.

LOL

After being generally annoying and doing no significant damage, the Zerglings are forced to retreat.

But that doesn't matter now.

Rigel is finally made aware of his situation.

A single lurker incoming.

An attack being prepared.

That one lurker does terrible, terrible damage, forcing the retreat of Rigel. It is starting to look grim.

It worked! It really, really worked!

The shelling commences.

A few sunkens have been taken care of.

A single dropship to harass. Impervious is not prepared for this.....

Finally, the natural is breached. Along with that, mining has been ceased on the other side of the map.

Without any hatcheries safe, and no standing army, Impervious has one option. Surrender.

Note - this was all in fun. This game was just too funny to not share.

Impervious ooooowwwwwns. It is surprising that Rigel was somehow able to destroy a zerg that had such great macro so easily

You forgot to take a screenshot of me taking the bottom right and building it up with your ling sitting 3 feet away watching and not doing anything.

Impervious shouldn't have lost that. He could have played a bit smarter, and he'd be fine. Mutas would have worked wonderfully, since Terran is only on one gas. Not to mention he'd have scourge to take care of that dropship...

However, fun/funny game

I figure dark swarm would have been easier..... Too bad I didn't bother with it..... I didn't bother making ANYTHING after I had those sunkens and lurkers in his nat.....
