Not entirely sure what to think at the moment. My team just decided to fold today(im [pan]aerials-) so basically BW is totally dead to me.... I will only play for ToT) or pan. Pan is dead, but i'm too inactive for ToT).... and I see no reason to play bw.... Which is really saddening because I've been playing competitively for roughly 5 years now, only recently started emerging amongst the rest as a formidible opponent for the top tier players. I can't really describe how it feels that pandemic has died..... It is where I first began to understand bw and excel at a higher level than your average player.... it propelled me to be good enough to be part of the most historic and quite possibly the best foreign team ever; ToT). From there I kept increasing activity and skill level until I was able to break into the top 30 at gg.net up to about 26th place. Although we all know it isn't an incredibly accurate point system, ask any top foreigner that plays and they will tell you that they care about their rank at gg.net once they break into the top level.... But work had started 9 months ago... work fulltime with family at a plant around my area... From there I became too inactive to play for ToT) anymore, and volunteered myself to leave the team because there was no reason for me to be there anymore. I'm a bit sentimentle about these kinda things for w/e reason, but ToT) is a team of respect around bw, and there's no reason for me to be on it if i can't contribute to it... So back to Pandemic I went, where it all started for me... where I had met about 50% of the team in person, really comfortable with almost everyone... and I had a little more of a responsibility as far as the 1v1'ing in cws went.... but now... there is nothing.... and it feels weird that bw is basically officially done for me... sc2 is on the verge of releasing, and frankly I don't have enough time and especially motivation to be playing bw.... it saddens me alot, there have been alot of memories....
So i guess this is me talking to myself convincing myself that I'm done with bw, but yet i'm sharing my thoughts with everyone for w/e reason lol... feels good to get stuff off your chest sometimes and having others listen....
Anyways, I'd like to give thanks to all the members of Pandemic that stuck through it to the end, and to those that retired as legends of the game like schism and bandit... and of course Duran for taking me into the team because he was my friend, and for no other reason lol, I certianly wasn't good enough for the team at the time.
I'd also like to thank Mondragon and staff for letting me spend 1+ year on the best team ever to exist in bw history, had it not been for ToT), I wouldn't have felt satisfied spending all these years on bw, but I released my dream, most people cannot say that about bw... some want to be on really good teams, others want to be in Korea, but when I found out about ToT), I had set my goal, and eventually worked my way to it, and that makes me happy  , no regrets left what-so-ever about all the time i spent on bw, all the yelling at the monitor because golaiths are dumb, or me missing the mine button and pressing patrol instead lol.... R.I.P BW! I love you always
On a good note, Sc2 Beta is currently installing .

Why did [Pan] end up folding? :S. I thought the atmosphere inside that team would enable it to live even if the sponsors caved in.

Well I love bw, but now I hate that its over. It ALMOST feels like I wasted my time, but when I think about it, it was totally worth it and I'd do it over again .

Everyone has slowly fallen into inactivity, there were only a couple players that were active and cw fit, and Duran didn't want to recruit mediocore players and hope they develop AGAIN. The man has done alot for the team, and I guess his patience ran out on reviving it for like the 5th time lol. I don't blame him, I would have done the same.

main reason was we loss sponsor and we were losing players(castro mainly lol)/alot of players are inactive so we couldnt compete against the top clans, there arnt many players available to recruit that are good enought to play against the high leveled clans

But you don't HAVE to compete vs the top clans. LighT is like a family, you guys should stick together.

Duran said, and I agree with this, it's better that we close the team at the peak of our level, rather than lowering the skill level and competing in division 2/3. Believe me though, we stick together, we have a facebook group for ourselves lol.
