KGB Is a legit online job similar to these survey jobs you're looking for. My brother does it so I know it's not a scam. You basically go through like 6 hour video training to operate the software and answer questions sent to the website. You get a certain amount of money per question that you answer. I think it's $0.10 per question.

The questions are basically all answered on google. My brother would show me questions people ask like: "Where can you find paint in Lowes?" And he gets $0.10 to tell the guy paint is found in the paint section, lol.

Also stupid stuff like drunk people asking "why is my girlfriend mad" and you get credit for asking the guy to elaborate and give you more information, haha.

So yea, if you have an office job with lots of downtime you could try and do this for extra money. You have to sign up for blocks of time, like 2-3 hours as a "shift". So I don't know how much free time you have to be able to do this.

i dunno if I trust that site:

I think they advertise nationally on tv so at least they are in the open so to speak.

They also have a Super Bowl ad lined up for Sunday. They are probably legit, I just applied so I hope so.

It's not a scam. My brother started working for them in them mid-January and made like $80 so far working whenever he felt like. Also his friend who referred him to it has been doing it over a year and made about $50 a day doing it. It all depends on how much effort you put into it. If you crank out questions SC APM style you'll make like $50-60 a day, but if you just do it chill-mode you'll get like $20-30.

Amazon Mechanical Turk is legit. You're not gonna be rolling in the dough or anything, but it's cool to make a few dollars by doing some menial tasks. You can set it up without mail or credit card and just use it on amazon purchases, or have it transferred to an account.

Doesn't KGB charge $1 per answer? That's a large profit margin.

I usually just do the ones posted on campus. They range from 5-200 dollars. They're usually done by grad/post-grad students so I know they're legit. The one's I've done that were found online were more of a rewards type thing.

One time I got a free year of XBL. Schweet.

its legit but you get loads of junk mail (actual mail, to your mailbox) and phonecalls.. thats the reason I dont really do it right now, living at home. If i was living on my own tho where I dont care about getting mass junk mail, id do it, but dont want my family who own this house to be spammed for the rest of their life =[

Actually, Cashcrate.com is legit, I've been paid by them before (About $40). I used a fake name and address for everything, and a gmail account I made specifically for collecting spam. I only did the free offers that didn't require a credit card, they ranged from $.25-$1, but they're pretty easy. You'll get used to them so you can grind them out pretty quick.

I also did treasuretrooper.com, got ~$40 from them as well. They have their site set up more of a game, you can enter drawings and do contests, as well as get extra referrals (you'll get a % of what they make, while you earn no less).

Both worked for me, just make up a name/address/new email.

Edit: I had both mail me a check.
Edit2: Both are simply filling out some info, doesn't take any long term time commitments, just to them when you have a spare 20 mins or whatever.

They work, just be sure to use a spam email so they won't bombard you with spam emails. I don't get real mail from them so that's fine. If you want to be extra cautious, use an address/info you find on yellowpages and stuff. I've used prizerebel and globaltestmarket and got a 50 dollar check from globaltestmarket and ~$135 of free stuff from prizerebel.

HOWEVER... imo it's easier and pays MUCH better to get a real job. Sure if you have extra time on your hands this works and all. Most sites have a referral system where you get a percent of what your referrals earn and that's how most sites earn money (haha i've thought of recruiting TLer's but that's against site rules of course). I got a few of my friends to do these things but getting a real job pays much better.

I got the following from Prizerebel:
Razer Diamondback
Zalman Laptop Cooler
A nice 16'' laptop sleeve
Markers
A 1GB microSD card
2 headsets (they both broke )
An OCZ Mouse (which is really good for starcraft IMO)
TOTALING a LIFETIME POINTS of 134.15 within ~3 months?

Globaltestmarket was just me filling out a survey or two a day, praying that I qualify so they can give me like 2 dollars. 50 dollars to check out. Took a long time for 50 dollars, like 2 months but it's cash whereas prizerebel is forcing you to spend it on items...

Was it worth it? Sure... I would have spent that time playing SC or watching Youtube or something unproductive anyways. Electricity costs? negligible... Could I have gotten more? Sure, I could have dedicated more time if I wanted to (but I would run out of offers aka surveys to fill out). 3 months for 134 dollars? I could get way more with a real job.

If you're a 16 year old who doesn't want to go out and get a job, this is good for you. If you're a grown man who wants extra money and already have a job sure. As a job alternative, no.

Still interested? Well one advice from me is to be safe.
-As stated before, don't use a real email, make a spam email.
-Other than that, use common sense with giving out your personal info and LEARN how to fill out the surveys so that it COUNTS (else you won't get points meaning you won't get money).
-Some sites are scams so be sure to do some HW on your site.
-Referrals help give you points and are the source of most of your points, but be smart about referring.. I think referring on TL is against commandment 5?
-Be patient with you're earnings.
- If you doubt your site, test it! I did that with prizerebel since getting to 8 points was relatively easy and I requested a mircoSD for a prize. I was amazed when it actually got delivered relatively fast.

That's about all the knowledge I have on these types of sites.
BTW I've tried cashcrate but I never committed to it since I got lazy. Never got to the payout amount.

@ 0neheart, yes maplestory mesos along with other game items are available on prizerebel. They have a prize shop you can choose from or you can request a custom prize that's over 5 dollars. Basically anything that's not illegal you can request.

Also, there has been a post about cash crate in the past:

And of course there's always poker...
Now if only we could earn money from each SC game we play :O

Nitting up poker would probably be more reliable than this and more profitable even at NL10 stakes.

Problem is that I suck at online poker cash games(not terrible IRL) and It's not easy to play while I'm at work. I might have a customer come in and distract me for an hour or something. Kinda sucks if you see paired hole cards and have to get up on the BB..

Do you have reliable transportation to work?
Yes | No

CM, I think you don't apply for a "career" job. You apply for an "Agent" position.

http://542542.com/agent

They have an FAQ explain all the things you need to know. I'm signing up now.
I don't have mono anymore. Woooo!

For those interested in being a KGB agent I just finished all of training and am waiting to hear back on my certification test results. If you're interested you have to do a short, easy challenge with a few sections (it finishes with a rather open ended question for you to answer as if it were a text, for me I got "What's up, Doc?"). If they like what they see they'll invite you to go through training which consists of training manuals online, and then a simulator to familiarize yourself with the system. At the end there is a 15 text test, the results of which will determine whether you are hired, sent back for more training, or denied and precluded from reapplying. Hope this helps.
