I agree; it is cold, and she likely won't want to be friends with you. Saying that you didn't want to hear her cry means you don't have the guts to face up to the consequences, and your letter was full of empty words and devoid of any actual emotion.

I don't believe a letter is the best way to go about this in most cases. However, I can understand that other methods would be difficult (given the circumstances).

You obviously care very much for this girl, and I think you should consider trying to work things out. That is only my opinion, though. Good luck to you.

I get a similar impression. It seems from your letter that you really look forward to your time spent with her and hate it when you're apart. That's generally a good thing in relationships.
