This is why you ended things with a letter? Cold man... I agree; it is cold, and she likely won't want to be friends with you. Saying that you didn't want to hear her cry means you don't have the guts to face up to the consequences, and your letter was full of empty words and devoid of any actual emotion.

I guess he was trying to avoid the awkward cryingphest the telephone conversation would of become. A cold, but smart move by his part.
edit: wait a minute, you're that guy that made that thread. Wow...

letter was a terrible idea.
But if you've only seen her 4-5 times in person I don't think this is that bad. Sounds like a real infantile relationship in which case tactics like this aren't so bad.
Some people just stop calling/talking rofl.. at least you aren't as bad as them

Yea I want to end this early so it does not escalate into a shitfest where she ends up hating me. I'm sorry for a lack of background here guys I just wanted to write it somewhere.

Ethan, you have a big dick and you are destined for success. Trust me, I can tell by your letter.

man that must be a horrible letter to read

Mind saying how she took it at least?

Please do not take this the wrong way because it could be easily distorted. I am willing to talk about it if you would like but my phone died again and my new one won’t be here until next week so you would need to call me.

WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ASK FOR FEEDBACK AFTER YOU ALREADY SENT IT????

wait for your phone to come then call her and talk about it. Its WTF if you do it over the letter and then say u can't call me during the crucial moment
|
I don't believe a letter is the best way to go about this in most cases. However, I can understand that other methods would be difficult (given the circumstances).
You obviously care very much for this girl, and I think you should consider trying to work things out. That is only my opinion, though. Good luck to you.

There's an epidemic of people making blogs with copies of things they wrote after they already sent/submitted it. I had a feeling this would be one of them which explains my question in the first reply of this thread.

WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ASK FOR FEEDBACK AFTER YOU ALREADY SENT IT???? For future break-up letters? You stole my line, lol. But honestly I think the OP is being a coward, not to call her or tell her in person. Me and my gf always agree that, if we are ever going to break up we would tell each other face to face.

Just tell her you don't like her that much -- because if you were digging her you would surmount these small difficulties.

I get a similar impression. It seems from your letter that you really look forward to your time spent with her and hate it when you're apart. That's generally a good thing in relationships.

What? You're willing to break her heart but not willing to deal with the consequences?
