I agree; it is cold, and she likely won't want to be friends with you. Saying that you didn't want to hear her cry means you don't have the guts to face up to the consequences, and your letter was full of empty words and devoid of any actual emotion.

But if you've only seen her 4-5 times in person I don't think this is that bad. Sounds like a real infantile relationship in which case tactics like this aren't so bad.

I don't believe a letter is the best way to go about this in most cases. However, I can understand that other methods would be difficult (given the circumstances).

You obviously care very much for this girl, and I think you should consider trying to work things out. That is only my opinion, though. Good luck to you.
