[H] Routing computer sound?

Hey guys I got a razer barracuda a while ago and I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.

I have a windows XP computer from around 3-4 years ago. So the computer comes with the surround sound ports on the video card. With the 4 3.5MM jacks for audio.

I was wondering if theres a way to allow me to set different programs to different audio outs? I think it should be possible. for example, with my headset I want my Center/Sub jack to output my music, my front speaker jack to have starcraft sound, and my rear jack to output ventrilo sound, however I can't seem to get the other jacks to show up in audio devices so I can set where to output it?

Anyone know how to get this shit to work? I am not too familiar with bios setting but I was about to check to see if those ports are disabled on it or something like that. I can't figure it out internally

If they were plugged into different outputs, couldn't you manually select the outputs (at least for vent)? I believe Ventrilo has some settings on how/where to set the outputs, so at the very least, it would separate it to some degree. "Sound Output" dropdown menu.

Yeah, I have tried that. The output option just does not pop up. No idea why, it always just has the realtek front and rear output jacks. Never the other two.

Very few soundcards allow you to enumerate all the ports as virtual devices. The best you can do is set Vent to come out the rear channel by using Special Effects / Directional. Your audio player may have an option to do mono downmixing to center (it's possible in foobar2000 at least), but I have no idea how you could control BW.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I do this with two sound cards. One does all my skyping, the other one the rest. With different soundcards, it's very easy.

Seeing you say this makes me a very sad panda. Is there any mixer program that emulates a 5.1 sound output that would allow you to do that?

Actually upon rereading this, all I have to do is DL foobar2000 and I can set it up how I want rofl, starcraft defaults to the front, foobar I can set to the center and using directional I can output to the back.
