ya the CG cutscenes ( in shitty quality ) are what are getting me. also that i havent finished 6 completely. got to final dungeon, just couldnt finish.
also havent gotten to the 2nd disc of 8, so my lore on that is slow

I realized after watching this I never beat FF8 >_< It's the only FF I haven't beaten at least once, counting up to XII. Damn, I gotta find it somewhere :o But I've heard so many bad comments about it, is it any good? :s

I think the first half is very solid but at the start of disk 3 the plot starts to go head-slamming retarded. As a side note, the combat system was very fun to break.

There is no really easy trick to abuse. Yes, you can take advantage of various things such as Squall's Limit break, but there's no 'trick' that I'm aware of. Feel free to elaborate.
I'm actually comparing notes on this with my sister since she played that game to death and knows almost everything about it.
