mustve listened to it at least 20 times already, i think i love it even more than the original, I mean it's somewhat bad but you obviously picked the wrong song to do this, but now it sounds like a brilliant parody of the muse guy

I wish you luck in your venture into vocals :3 Ill be checking back to see your progress :D Settle down, if someone can't handle a bunch of laughs he shouldn't even attempt to be a singer. Not that it excuses the rude behavior but I don't really see anyone being rude here.

Its ok, getting bashed is good at the beginning, you see my goal is to take your comments and bashing as encouragement for me to get better ^^!

Well the thing is I don't have the slightest idea of which songs you can find an a capella version... although then again I'm not sure thats optimal anyways, because some vocals recorded with a shitty mic will always sound kinda ridiculous played to a professionally produced song. Do you have a guitar/keyboard/piano or sth? Try to think of a few of your favourite songs where you just generally feel like singing them.

Keep singing, and believe it or not you'll actually KNOW if you're doing it correctly or not 100%, and you dont even ask. Once u get there i think then u should consider getting a mic, a very good mic. So this way you don't have to settle for a shitt 100$ one when you're really just practicing. Some very good ones, like the bluebird condenser mic costs like 300? and i heard its VERY good in comparsion to a lot of others. <-- i got it from a youtube video. Did you check the last mp3 I put? Comments? Also, http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Rogue-Starter-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=519266 Should I get this to play along etc, its fucking cheap and reviews says its decent for a beginner ![]()

I did it in less than 10 seconds. http://www.2shared.com/file/8967663/e641671f/untitled.html So if is getting a100 $ mic really worth it? I wouldn't say so, unless you're recording instrumental from the guitar, or doing actual studio work and need everything to be razor precise. BTW: its getting better, still no power though.

Do you know how I can enhance the power? Or was is it called exactly? Singing from my diaphragm ?

also Especially for the chorus u'll need the strength in your voice to differitienate it from the rest of the song.
