Help with Google Chrome Please~

Ever since visiting SCForAll and getting that random security tool spyware shiet my computer got effed. I got rid of the actual spyware but I think I might've deleted some registry that involves images on my browser.

Everything is fine except I noticed the banner and main images for articles on the TL homepage didn't show up. Then I went to Google Images and it keeps telling me it can't connect to the server (on all 4 browsers -_- : Chrome, IE, Safari, Mozilla).

Anyone know what I might've done wrong? I restored everything I deleted using HijackThis but that didn't seem to solve anything >_>

Any solutions would be appreciated. Please keep the flames down to a minimal level ^^

Well to start with, if you think you are going to get flamed, then... dont post it.

Anyway, its not "Chrome's" Problem, its SCforAll.com's problem. Probably some really REALLY hardore malware got in (probably some angry nerd made it XD).

The best way to fix your computer is through a disk format... but thats re-installing everything. Otherwise you can try going to Geek Squad or something and ask them how to fix it.

Start -> run -> C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc -> enter -> double click hosts -> use notepad to open -> delete everything -> add "127.0.0.1 localhost" -> save -> post thanks

Holy shit thanks so much dude this actually worked

I remember having to do this for MapleStory hacks like 5 years ago rofl interesting...

EDIT: This definitely fixed the Google Images issue but TeamLiquid's banner and main article photo still doesn't seem to show up :O Oh well...
