So yesterday, I was killing time reading, waiting for the next ferry to take me home (I go to school in San Francisco, but live in Vallejo, a town across the bay) when I suddenly started getting a rumble in my intestines telling me I needed to take a shit real badly. Knowing that I still had an hour to kill before the next ferry, that the ferry ride would be another hour, and that the bathrooms on the ferry were cramped and could barely flush down piss, I decided to take my chances and find the cleanest public bathroom I could.
After about 5 minutes I found a bathroom near a hotel slightly out of the way, that seemed completely empty, but most importantly, clean. I went in, put down one of those paper barrier thingies on the toilet, and plopped myself down. Once I got started on my business, I heard some noises a few stalls down and realized I wasn't alone. It didn't bother me since this was a public bathroom after all, and continued minding my own business. Eventually he got up, and I heard him walk towards the sinks, but didn't hear any of them get turned on, I then heard him pull some paper towels out of the dispenser and then he walked towards my stall.
At first I thought he might've just dropped something in his stall and was going to pick it up, but then he just stopped right in front of where I was (I could clearly see his feet pointing towards me, on the other side of the door) and he just stood there for a minute. I was genuinely creeped out at this point, but then I heard a few groans coming from the guy, and he started shifting around in front of my stall and through the crack of the door I quickly and vaguely saw his fist at waist level pumping up and down, heard a noise that sounded like...well...masturbation, and a few seconds later he made eye contact with me through the crack.
I realized fully what the fuck this asshole was doing and wanted to yell something at him, but for the first time in my life, I was rendered 100% speechless. I was just in fucking shock that someone would be jacking off to me taking a shit in a public restroom. After only about a minute or so, he was done and just left. I eventually finished taking my shit, but just sat there for a while contemplating what the fuck just happened.
I got up, and took a half-hour walk trying to come up with some other reason this series of events might have occurred (I didn't see his penis, just a very quick and vague glimpse of his fist pumping up and down, his eyes, and the sounds that came from him) however I couldn't think of any other reason.
So I don't know why I'm posting this, just needed to share I guess, and maybe someone can offer up a less creepy explanation for what this guy might have been doing. Needless to say though, I think I'm just gonna stay the hell away from public bathrooms.

don't worry about it too much. there are tons of creepy people in the world.
a couple of years ago i was taking a shit at a suntec city bathroom and some guy kept on peeping at me from under/over the stall wall. i was freaked out and i got out of there as quickly as i could. he followed me to a singtel store and asked me if I "wanted to have fun".

Nah. People who are willing to do things like this in public are usually very unpredictable and so it's difficult to take action to discourage them.

lmao thats funny and scary as hell at the same time. Thats some pyscho shit right there. Btw did you call the cops? Creeps like that normally have escalating behavior, and return to the same places. Its a good idea to let the cops know about stuff like that even if nothing really happened.

Yeah i don't think confrontation is a great idea, but i don't know if sitting there finishing taking you dump was a great idea too. I mean you can clean you cheeks and change your underpants, but rape last a life time. It maybe better to just zip up and run away screaming lol.

That's a tad creepy, it reminds me of the time I first walked into a public loo, and the place was such a dump that I said "fuck me" really loudly without thinking. The look I got from the 7 guys on the urinals was awkward and priceless.
