EPTSo I do get my keyboard setup and mouse and was able to play against the computer for a little warmup. BAM the brackets are out and we are starting. Look to see my name against Gretorp. I get annihalated 2-0 but to my defense I wasn't used to my setup yet... takes me a couple games AND the screen was wide as fuck. A LOT of misclicks.
So into the loser brackets I go to face orb. First game was when I started to get a hang of all the equipment and screen and was sorta epic. (many PvP's on Destination are) Then PvP on python and it was when everything was clicking. Micro Macro multitask and strategies were all there. Sooo 2-0 vrs orb.
Next match was against Never. I was a little worried here because Never dominated me the first lan that we played, second time we played he 2-1ed me. So third times a charm?? Yes. First game 1 gate expo vrs terrans 1fac CC. I go DT's and shuttle and take my third while harassing on destination. Didnt do as much dmg as I would have liked but my third was secure. went to arbitors and controlled the map and that was it. Second game I went reavers after 1 gate expo on cross positions on python. He goes 2fac, kills my natural but loses most of his units to my reaver. I make another reaver and harass and I killed SOOO MANY SCVS. I honestly thought he was down to 4-8 scvs total. I get my natural and decide to try to all in break to end the game.. WRONG my 2 shuttles with 4 zlots and 11goons got melted by his tanks. I seriously didnt think he had so much. He counters and wins game 2. game 3 was on outsider. I open 1 gate expo into a quick third on 1 gate, I knew he FE'd cause gas scvs but he didnt expo at his nat. He gets his natural and I know 3 bases so i hop the mineral wall and take the dual gas expo. arbitors and hts kept him in his base. When he pushed out he told me after the game he forgot to hotkey his comstats. so cloaked units raped his push out and from there he was stuck in his base.
Then the next match.. vrs LastShad0w. Ohh man what a series. first game was on destination and I open with DTs vrs his FE. Suprisingly i got a good harass on his natural scvs due to a misplaced first turret. I grabbed my third quickly and went to arbitors. As I was getting my third he went dropships. I did very well considering that I dislike dropships more than terran players dislike dts. I stop the harassment well with not too many probes lost. So I get my 4th with arbiors and map control and my 5th (min only). All i can say is this match was epic. His push killed a base, I recall on his third killed his base, his push also did dmg to my 5th. I got a recall in his main and ran the arbitors over to the top left of the map. recalled his third, attacked his 4th (min only) and recalled his main. played so well and i was able to walk through the back door harass there too with the recall in his main. GG
Game 2 was dumb of me, If terran does not wall this build is actually pretty effective, 2gate zlot expo + cannons into shuttle reaver or dts. he is going to go vultures to combat the zlots cannons stop vulture but its actually pretty solid IF THE TERRAN DOESNT WALL. he walled, gg.
Game 3 was on outsider and I was decidint on a 14 nexus or 2base carrier. I went 14 nexus and he bunkers me, gg.
Got to watch the rest of the matches, Artosis vs Gretorp on NeoMedusa was a great game. all the games were amazing from that point forth.
So after all the fun and excitement we went to eat at a chinese place, that wasnt seving than a pizza place were some people got food. The interview with sYz-adreniline about that tournament he started with the top 32 players (or in idras view, 31 plus octzerg) Then after bsin around we had to go, shook hands with everyone and the thing that lasts in my mind was artosis saying that I am a good player and to keep it up. My day was made right there.
