Only three conditions: 1) Has to be potted, my patio is all tile & gravel. 2) Has to survive in a tropical climate. 3) Has to be fairly easy to maintain. Just watering & trimming preferably. Bonus points for anything I can turn into a cocktail later like my mint plant.  | ||

No really, 1) buy yourself some avocados. 2) Peel them. 3) Eat them. 4) Buy pot. 5) Put dirt in pot. 6) Hide avocado seed in dirt. 7) Add water + time = Avocado plant. The nice thing about this is that you can watch it grow (nurture it) and you can stick the sticky tags that come on the avocados onto the pot to be like "That's where he was born" when your friends ask you about your gosu gardening skilz. D dunno if they actually make fruit (mine didn't :[ damm infertile avocados!) but its worth a try. Oh btw, i didn't know the netherlands had a tropical climate... | ||
